New Donegal ladies assistant boss Bernard McGeehan
New Donegal ladies boss James Daly will have MacCumhaills clubman Bernard McGeehan beside him in the dugout.
McGeehan - who has both played for and managed the Twin Towns side in the past - had been in charge of Tyrone outfit Aghyaran for the last two seasons.
Armagh native Daly was approached to take over the reins from John McNulty after the latter’s surprise step away from the role earlier in the month after just one term in charge.
The Donegal LGFA board moved quickly however and have secured an experienced boss who, as well as the Orchard girls, also has previous intercounty experience in both Fermanagh and Longford.

McGeehan will now bring plenty of local knowledge to the managerial set-up as Donegal prepare for the start of the league.
They will again play in a very competitive eight-team Lidl Division 2 in 2025 made up of Clare, Cork, Galway, Monaghan, Roscommon, Tipperary and Westmeath.
They open their campaign away to Clare on Sunday, January 26.
