Donegal's first game will be in January against Clare
The fixtures for the 2025 LGFA National League fixtures have been confirmed and the Donegal senior ladies will have four home games with three on the road in their Division 2 campaign.
Donegal held onto their senior status in the championship as their season came to an end last July following a nail-biting 0-9 to 0-8 point win over Kildare.
The team who were led by John McNulty made massive strides as their 2024 season went on, and despite failing to secure promotion back to Division 1 last spring, the Donegal side produced an impressive championship season when they brought a strong Armagh side to the wire in the Ulster final, before losing out after extra-time.
They were then held to a draw with Kerry in MacCumhaill Park, before dropping into the relegation zone following a defeat to Waterford, but were able to salvage their season with a strong win over the Lilywhites, a side they lost out to in the league.
Donegal will commence their season at the end of January with an away league fixture to Clare, followed by a trip to Westmeath the following week.
Their final three home games will be held at home when they welcome Galway, Tipperary, and Cork, all in the month of March.
