Buncrana now have home advantage against Naomh Conaill in the last eight
St Eunan's 0-11
Buncrana 2-12
Buncrana will fly the Inishowen flag in the knockout stages of the U-21A football championship following Sunday’s seven-point win over St Eunan’s in O’Donnell Park.
It was the second win in three outings for the Oisin O’Flaherty-managed side and the perfect response to last weekend’s narrow home defeat to a Gaoth Dobhair side that goes into the last eight as favourites to go all the way.
Michael Bernard McLaughlin marked his return to the team having missed the clash with Gaoth Dobhair and the big midfielder kicked one of the goals and wing forward Darragh McColgan scored the other.

Dylan Mulholland was prominent again in the scoring stakes while Liam and Kevin Jordan, James Friel, Sean Doherty, Billy Duffy and Conor Graham were all on the scoresheet at the end.
David Boyle carried the main scoring threat for the locals and he ended the 60-plus minutes with a personal tally of six points made up of a combination of play, frees and a ‘45.
Cian McMonagle, Thomas O’Donnell, Ruairi Kavanagh and Oisin Scanlon were the other St Eunan’s men to raise white flags.
Buncrana finished in third place in the league standings at the end of the group stages behind second-placed Four Masters and table-toppers from Magheragallon.
The top-four finish means Buncrana will have home advantage for their quarter-final clash with Naomh Conaill, in a repeat of their first 4-11 to 1-12 win over the Glenties side at the Scarvey.
