St Mary’s Convoy cruise into Donegal JFC semi-final with victory over Urris

Corrie Lee Bogan scored the two important goals which proved the difference in the end as the Convoy side advanced to the semi-final of the Donegal Junior championship with a 10-point win over Urris

St Mary's Convoy cruised into the last four of the Donegal Junior A Championship with a 10-point win over Urris in St Mary’s Park on Saturday night.    

Corrie Lee Bogan scored two goals and John Toye kicked seven points with Liam Toye and Gavin Sweeney posting two points each in their 10-point win.  

St Mary’s got off to a dream start with two quick-fire goals in the five minutes opening minutes.  

And they were well on their way to the semi-final when they led 2-10 to 0-4 at half-time.  

John McCarron, Gavin McDaid, Luke Devlin, Eddie Kelly, Dean Harkin, and Tiernan McDonald were the Urris point scorers.  

St Mary’s scorers: John Toye 0-7; Corrie Lee Bogan 2-0; Liam Toye and Gavin Sweeney 0-2 each.  
Urris scorers: John McCarron 0-2; Gavin McDaid, Luke Devlin, Eddie Kelly, Dean Harkin, and Tiernan McDonald 0-1 each.
