Buncrana shared the spoils with Milford
Buncrana 0-9
Milford 1-6
It ended all square between Buncrana and Milford, two of the heavyweights in the IFC title, when they met on Sunday afternoon at a wet and windy Scarvey.
In this closely contested clash in trying conditions of strong wind and driving rain, this tie was on a knife edge from the first whistle to the last.
Buncrana were short a number of regulars including county man Caolan McGonagle and former Donegal ace Darach O’Connor who were both out injured.
The locals shaded the first half on the scoreboard as they led 0-6 to 0-5 at the end of the opening 30 minutes.
A Peter Curran second half goal edged Milford ahead but Buncrana levelled it soon after and that is how it remained at the finish.
