Urris just about squeezed past Moville in this all Inishowen Junior A championship clash played in Crampsey Park on Sunday afternoon. 

A point separated the sides at half-time with Urris ahead 1-3 to 0-5 at the changeover and two was the difference between them at the end of the 60-plus minutes.

Mark McLaughlin’s 12th minute goal was the big score of the opening stanza. 

McLaughlin also  notched a point while  Eddie Kelly, Johnny Noone, Tiernan McDonald, Danny Devlin, Luke Devlin and Conor Bradley were also among the other Urris men to hit the target. 

Christy Hegarty and Michael Barr carried the main scoring threat for Moville with four points each.

Michael Leech and Danny Murphy were the other Moville scorers in a tie that had both sets of supporters on their toes until the final whistle. 

Urris scorers: Mark McLaughlin 1-1, Eddie Kelly, Johnny Noone 0-2 each, Tiernan McDonald, Danny Devlin, Luke Devlin, Conor Bradley 0-1 each.

Moville scorers: Christy Hegarty 0-4,1f, Michael Barr 0-4, Michael Leech, Danny Murphy 0-1 each.
