Donegal's previous nine All-Ireland championship semi-finals

On Sunday Donegal will take on Galway in Croke Park in what will be their tenth All-Ireland semi-final, six under the management of Brian McEniff and three under the management of Jim McGuinness

2011

28th August: Donegal 0-6  Dublin 0-8

Jim McGuinness took his side to the semi-final for the first time and it will be remembered as the low-scoring affair. Donegal led 0-4 to 0-2 at half-time and saw a Colm McFadden goal effort skim the crossbar early in the second half. But Dublin regrouped and just made it over the line.
