Donegal's previous nine All-Ireland championship semi-finals

On Sunday Donegal will take on Galway in Croke Park in what will be their tenth All-Ireland semi-final, six under the management of Brian McEniff and three under the management of Jim McGuinness

2003

31st August: Donegal 1-9  Armagh 2-10

Brian McEniff was in charge for the sixth time in an All-Ireland semi-final which went down to the wire. They had come through the back door, defeating Galway after a replay in the quarter-final. The loss of Raymond Sweeney to a harsh red card was a defining moment. The sides were level with minutes left but an injury time penalty by Oisin McConville sent Armagh on their way to their second final in-a-row, but they lost this one to Tyrone.
