Carndonagh easily overcame Dungloe in a very one-sided affair in Hibernian Park in Burt.

The wind-assisted Inishowen men had a whopping half-time lead of 2-18 to 0-3 and had 2-6 on the board before Dungloe opened their account from a Richie Ryan free after 10 minutes.

Matthew Porter and Cian Doherty grabbed the goals while Daire Tully, Cathal Doherty, Cian Doherty, Donal Doherty, Luke White, and Dara McCormick with Ryan and Nicholas Wehrly replying for Dungloe.

Carn’s scoring rate dropped in the second half but two quick goals from McCormick and Donal Doherty, and points from Danny Monagle, White, Donal Doherty, and Cian Doherty added to their impressive tally.

A long-range free from Ryan found its way to the Carn net but it made no difference as Carn ran out worthy winners.
