Shane McMonagle in action for Finn Harps
Finn Harps star Shane McMonagle announced his departure from Finn Park due to other commitments.
Having re-signed for the club back in January, the defender first joined the club at the beginning of the 2023 campaign, making 15 appearances before moving to neighbouring Dergview FC during the Summer.
There, he made 16 appearances for the NIFL Championship side before returning to Finn Park over the winter.
McMonagle was the 20th player to be confirmed by the club ahead of the 2024 campaign and made 12 appearances this season for Harps.
His last competitive game involved in for Darren Murphy’s team came over a month ago, in a 2-0 loss against Kerry. Since then Harps have played four competitive league games with McMonagle failing to make an appearance in any of them.
