Ruairi Campbell pings a point against Mayo
Donegal’s Nickey Rackard Cup success has been rewarded with three players being named on the Hurling Team of the Week.
Ruairi Campbell, Seán McVeigh and Stephen Gillespie have all been selected after that brilliant 3-17 to 0-22 win over Mayo in Croke Park.
Setanta’s Campbell posted 1-3 in the victory while St Eunan’s McVeigh was also on the mark with a brace. Burt’s Gillespie made his 100th appearance for Donegal on Jones Road and also managed to nab a point from full-back.
