Action from Burt's win over Buncrana

Buncrana 4-6
Burt 4-20

Burt had a big win over neighbours Buncrana in this high-scoring encounter at The Scarvey on Friday evening in a game where Ronan McDermott came off the bench for his first appearance since his cruciate ligament injury last summer.

The winners led by 1-9 to 1-2 at the break with their goal coming from Aidan McKinney after just two minutes with Ciaran McLaughlin replying, in kind, with a goal from a free in the 13th minute.

Kieran Brady landed four points for Burt with Oisin Kerr and McKinney also finding the target and Kevin O’Rourke and Dylan Duffy pointing for Buncrana.

There were more goals in the second half with Ciaran Porter, Brady and Ciaran Bradley finding the net and Peter Grant, Oisin Grant and McLaughlin replying for Buncrana.

But they could only manage four more pointed frees from Dylan Duffy as in-command Burt had points from the inevitable Brady (0-8) and Porter to seal an emphatic win
