Shaun Patton has returned from suspension and will keep goal for Donegal in Cavan

Shaun Patton and Oisin Gallen have been named in the Donegal starting XV to take on Cavan at Breffni Park tomorrow in round two of the Allianz Football League, 4pm.

St Eunan's goalkeeper Patton was suspended for the 1-20 to 2-6 win over Cork in Ballybofey last Sunday, having been sent off in last year's All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final against Tyrone. St Naul's Gavin Mulreany was between the sticks for that encounter and the 0-12 to 0-6 loss to Derry in the Dr McKenna Cup final.

Gallen was named to start last weekend, only to be replaced before throw-in by Daire Ó Baoill. Manager Jim McGuinness said afterwards that the MacCumhaill's forward Gallen has a slight hamstring strain. Kevin McGettigan of Naomh Conaill was taken off against Cork, with what McGuinness said was an Achilles injury, and does not make the matchday 26. Michael Langan is in the panel, taking his place on the substitutes' bench.

Cavan enjoyed a fine 0-16 to 0-12 victory over Kildare in their opening fixture and have not beaten Donegal in the league since the 1985/86 season.
