Alan Friel takes over as Urris senior football team boss ahead of the 2024 season

Urris have announced that Alan Friel has been officially ratified as their new senior men’s football team boss for 2024. 

An influential player with the Inishowen club for many years, having first broke into the senior team at just 16 years of age, Friel has undoubtedly the experience and leadership which will be of great benefit to the club’s senior squad. 

Chairman Michael Farren congratulated Alan on his appointment, saying: “Everyone at the club wish Alan, his backroom team and all the players the very best for the season ahead.

“The club would also like to thank the outgoing management team of Mickey Grant and Conor Bradley for their dedication and commitment over the last two years.”
