Termon booked their place in the last four of the U-21 A football championship with an impressive 16-point victory over Kilcar.

Termon 3-12 Kilcar 0-5

At a wet and blustery Donegal Training Centre in Convoy, Ryan McFadden was the standout operator for the Burn Road lads, collecting 2-5 of his side’s overall total.

Kicking with the stiff breeze in the first period, Termon kept the Towney residents scoreless inside the opening 30 minutes as they departed with 2-8 under their belts at the midpoint.

Mark Gallagher grabbed one of those three-pointers while McFadden would land his second on 43 minutes. Jamie Grant, Aaron Reid, Bobby McGettigan and Conor Cassidy were also on target in that dominant period.

Kilcar were off the mark right away in the second half as Seanie Boyle landed a brace of frees. However, once McFadden drilled into the top corner to net a third Termon goal, this one was as good as over.

Eoin Cormac, Boyle and Karl Lyons did nail closing points for Kilcar but, at that stage, those late contributions were merely scoreboard gloss. Termon will now face St Eunan's in the semi-final.
