Sarah McDaid, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Buncrana Community Hospital of Sarah McDaid (née Murphy), Pillar Park, Buncrana. 

Predeceased by her husband Patrick, her sons Paddy and Johnny and son-in-law Noel. Loving mother of Harry, Shirley Quigley and Maura Mason.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her son, daughters, son-in-law Ian, daughters-in-law Martina and Rosaleen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her extended family and friends. 

Removal from Murphy's Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11am to her late residence.

Removal from her home on Friday at 10.15am to St Mary's Church, Cockhill for requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Áine Walsh, Galway and Carrick

The death has occurred of Áine Walsh (née Cunningham), ‘Misneach’, Ballybane Road, Ballybane, Galway, formerly Carrick.

A daughter of the late Margaret and John Colm Cunningham, Áine passed peacefully on December 26. Predeceased by her brothers Padraic, Jackie and Gerry.

Greatly missed by her much loved husband Paul and her children Emer, Síona, Seán, Niamh and Colm, sons-in-law Dermot, Michael and Robert, daughters-in-law Carol and Kasia and her cherished grandchildren Oisín, Eoin, Cian, Ronan, Jack and Livia.

Beloved by her siblings Con, Máire, Pauline and Bertie, the extended Cunningham and Walsh family and her wide circle of friends.

Reposing at home on Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm. Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballybane on Wednesday to arrive for requiem Mass at 10am. Áine will be laid to rest at Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore.

Charlie O’Donnell,  Drumfries, Clonmany

The death has taken place at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin of Charlie O’Donnell, Owenbuoy, Drumfries, Clonmany.
 
His remains are reposing at his home.

Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday at 10.15am, going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill, for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
 
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Dialysis Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o any family member or Comiskey Funeral Directors. House private please at the request of the deceased.

Patrick McFadden, Gaoth Dobhair

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Patrick (Patsy Ned) Mc Fadden, Lower Cnoc Fola, Gaoth Dobhair.

Predeceased by his parents, Madge and Edward, brother Neilly and sister Kitty.

Sadly missed by his sisters, Mary (America), Teresa and Peggy (Glasgow); brothers, Billy and John (London), nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  

Removal from Roarty's Funeral Home, Derrybeg (F92DN4X) on Wednesday at 6pm to his late residence.

Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after rosary until 11am. 

Funeral Mass in Teach Pobail Cholmcille, Cnoc Fola, on Friday at 11am, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bridie Kearney, Gleneely

The death has taken place at her home of Bridie Kearney, Gleneely, in her 101st year.

Remains reposing at the home of Margaret and Tommy Duffy, Carn Rd, Gleneely.

Funeral from there on Wednesday at 1.30pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Suzanne Neely, Kilmacrennan

The death has occurred of Suzanne Neely, Aghawoney, Kilmacrenan,  peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, after a short illness.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, Seamus, Anne Marie, Bridget and Niall, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 14 grandchildren, brother Charles (Manor), sisters Bridget (Manor), and Sarah (Nenagh), extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her husband Kevin, brothers Willie, Pat, John and Michael. 

Reposing at the residence of her daughter Anne Marie and son-in-law David Murray, Aghawoney, F92 K6P6.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Patsy Lynch, Moville

The death has taken place at the Buncrana Nursing Unit of Patsy Lynch, Ballylawn, Moville.

Reposing at the home of James and Siobhan Doherty, Terryrone, Moville.

Funeral from there on Wednesday at 2.15pm for 3pm  requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Drung, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Family time please from 11pm to 10am.

Family flowers only, donations if desired in lieu to the Buncrana Nursing Unit, care of any family member.

Kathleen Sharkey, St Johnston

The death has occurred of Kathleen Sharkey, Carrickmore, St Johnston and formerly of Ballindrait and Smokey, Lifford. 

Lovingly missed by her family, grandchildren, brother and sister and all her extended family and friends. 

Wake is private at the wishes of the deceased. Funeral will be leaving Kelly’s Funeral Home, Oakfield, Raphoe on Tuesday at 4.30pm going to St Patrick's Church, Murlog for 5pm to repose overnight. 

Requiem Mass is on Wednesday at 11am with private cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

David Reilly, Ballybofey  

The sudden death has occurred at St. James' Hospital, Dublin of David Reilly, Glenfin Road, Ballybofey. Aged 49.

Beloved son of Walter and Helen and much loved brother of Ivor and Georgie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken father, mother, brother, sister, partner Simone, uncles, aunts, nephew, nieces, extended family, and friends. 

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later. 

Eleanor Johnston, Manorcunningham, formerly Trentagh

The death has occurred of Eleanor Johnston, née Patterson, Manorcunningham, formerly of Trentagh. 

Lovingly missed by her daughters Cheryl and Tracey, sons-in-law David and Harold, grandchildren Victoria, Christian and Sarah and their partners, her great-granddaughter Ellie May, deeply regretted by her sister Olive Stevenson and brother-in-law Billy, nieces, nephews and all her extended family and friends. 

Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved husband Jim and her brothers David and Wilfred. 

Eleanor is reposing at her late residence at Manorcunningham. Wake is private to family and friends. 

Funeral Service at her late residence on Wednesday at 1.30pm with burial afterwards in Gortlee Cemetery, Letterkenny.

Hughie Feehily, Bundoran

The death has taken place of Hughie Feehily, Tranquilla Lodge, West End, Bundoran, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Mai and adored father to Gerard, Stella, Caroline and Geraldine.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, son, daughters, his beloved grandchildren Bryon and Ruby, his sons-in-law Maxwell, Daragh and Paul, daughter-in-law Aloysia, his brother Michael, sisters Josie, Della, Nuala, Philomena, Rose-Anne, Loretta, Toni and Margaret, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and all his many nieces (especially Marion Fitzgerald), nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Hughie and Annie Feehily, his sisters Mary and Annie and his brothers Sean and Desmond.  

Reposing at the family home on Wednesday from 12 noon until 6pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal on Thursday at 9.30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Joe Curran, Gortahork

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Joe Curran, Derryconnor, Gortahork.

Predeaceased by his mother Kit, father Robert and brother Robert. Survived by his brothers Mickey, Paddy, William and Johnny, his sisters Annie, Mary, Rosie and Margaret, in-laws, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends. 

Removal from Gortahork Funeral Premises F92 FT7C on Tuesday at 3pm going to his late home in Derryconnor and then going to his brother Mickey and Anges Haughey's residence at 14 Garradh Cholmcille, Station Road, Falcarragh F92 A0X2 for wake.

Removal from there on Thursday for 11am Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Rosary both nights at 8pm.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Lakehouse Nursing Home, Portnablagh, care of any family member.   

Anthony Chambers, Ballybofey 

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Anthony Chambers, Goland, Ballybofey.

Beloved husband of Roisin, and much loved father to sons, Tony and Brian, daughters Rose, Teresa, and Anne. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family and friends.  

Remains reposing at his late residence.

Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, December 28 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Jim McClenaghan, Greencastle 

The death has taken place at his home of Jim McClenaghan, St. Martin’s, Poundtown, Greencastle.

Jim’s remains are reposing at his home. You may pay your respects to the family on Monday and Tuesday from 10am to 10pm.

Jim's Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Ballybrack, Moville, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed on http://seeitonline.ie.

Jim will be deeply missed by his loving family and wide circle of friends.
