Met Éireann issues status yellow ice warning

Status Yellow ice warning in place for Donegal

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for twenty-two counties, including Donegal, this evening.

The national forecaster also warned ice in places could lead to hazardous travelling conditions, especially on untreated roads and paths.

The ice warning comes into affect from 5pm today, Saturday. The warning remains in place until 9am on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Donegal Count Council confirmed all winter maintenance designated routes will be gritted from 9PM tonight.
