The death has occurred of Tom Lawne, Drummeny Upper, Donegal Town peacefully at home.
Predeceased by his wife Vera. Sadly missed by his loving, son’s Peter (Roberta) and James (Helen), daughter Mary (John) grandchildren Francis, Joseph and Maria nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Tom’s remains will repose at Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal from 1pm until 6:30pm on Friday, January 30 with removal from funeral home to St Agatha’s Church, Clar for 7pm.
Tom’s requiem Mass will be in St Agatha’s Church, Clar at 11am on Saturday 31st January 2026 with burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only donations in lieu of flowers to Donegal Community Hospital patient comfort fund in memory of Tom.
Jim Doherty, Clonmany
The peaceful death has occurred in Beach Hill Manor Nursing Home, Lisfannan, Buncrana of Jim Doherty (Pat), No. 7 The Cottage’s, Cleagh, Clonmany and formerly of Cloontagh, Clonmany.
Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Sarah, sisters Lizzy and Bridget and brother Patrick.
Much loved brother of Kathleen, sadly missed by his brother in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and neighbours.
Jim’s remains will be reposing at St Collumbcille Oratory, Cleagh, Clonmany on Thursday, January 29 at 5:00pm till 8:00pm and on Friday from 3:00pm till 8:00pm, where all are welcome to pay respects.
Funeral from the on Saturday morning at 10:40am going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for Requiem Mass at 11:00am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Betty Loughlin, Cloghan
The peaceful death has taken place of Betty Loughlin (nee Gallagher) of Ballykerrigan, Cloghan at the Donegal Hospice.
Beloved wife of Eunan, much loved mother to sons Patrick (Samantha), Eunan (Rosie), Daughter Irene (Chris).
Dearly loved grandmother to Darian, Ethan, Kaleb, David, Anita, Krystel and Amber.
Predeceased by her parents Tommy, Mary and her brother Martin.
Survived by her sisters Bridie, Mary, Lena and Vera, Brothers Kevin and Tony.
Betty’s remains will repose at the family home in Ballykerrigan, Cloghan, F93 RX8P on Thursday, January 29 at 5pm until Rosary at 9pm and from 12 noon until 9pm on Friday.
Family time outside reposing times and on the morning of the funeral.
Requiem Mass on Saturday, at 11am in the Church of Our Lady of Prepetual Succour, Glenfin.
Service of interment is afterwards in Cill Mhuire Cemetery, Glenfin.

Shuttle bus will operate from the Reelin Bar carpark, F93 R821, from 5pm each evening.

The death has taken place of Mary Ferry (née McGinley) of Derryreel, Falcarragh.
Much-loved and sadly missed by her children Manus, Jim, Neil, Maggie, Katie, Noel, Mary, Bríd and Grace, her loving grandchildren and great-grand children, daughters-in-law and son-in-law, her brother Noel and sister Catherine, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her loving husband Neil, brothers Paddy and Hughie, sisters Gracie and Maggie.
Her remains will be reposing at her late residence on Thursday, January 29 from 1.00pm to 10pm and on Friday from 11am to 10pm.

The death has occurred of Michael Porter (Snr) peacefully at the Nazareth House, Fahan surrounded by his loving family and late of Tullynavin, Redcastle.
Predeceased by his wife Roseann and much-loved father of Michael (Kelly).
Devoted granda of Stephen, Nadine, Blaíne, Summer-Rose, Brooklyn and Beau.
Predeceased by his brothers and sisters and sadly missed by his brother and sisters Maura, Nance, Nora and Pauraic, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Michael’s remains will repose at Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh, F93 E4FN on Thursday and Friday from 5pm to 8pm on both days where all are welcome to pay respects.
Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church Drung, followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Sharpe, Anne (Née Lydon) of Kennaughty, Ardara and formerly of Loughconeera, Kilkerrin, Connemara, Co. Galway.
Anne passed away peacefully after a long illness, borne with great dignity and courage, on January 28 at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents Mark and Abbey Lydon and her brother Tommy.
Anne will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Maurice, her sons Joseph and Dean, daughter Diane, daughter in law Sheena and her grandsons Niall and Jonathan, by her brothers Cőilín, Paddy and John and her sisters Julia, Maureen, Barbara and Maggie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces nephews and wide circle of friends.
Anne will repose at McCabes Funeral Home, F94VCK1 Ardara, from 3 pm until 9 pm on Thursday, January 29.

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Charlie Longwell, Glenside, Gransha, Buncrana.
Loving husband of Norah and dear father of Emmett and Edward, brother of James and John.
Predeceased by his parents Roseann and Charlie and brother Hugh. Sadly missed by his family circle and friends Josephine McLaughlin and Margarit McLaughlin.

The sudden death has taken place of Dylan McNamee, 22 St Bridget’s Crescent, Drumkeen.
Dylan’s remains will repose at his home in Drumkeen on Thursday, January 29 from 12 Noon until 10pm, with Rosary at 9pm.
Requiem Mass will take place in St. Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen at 11am on Friday with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Brigid Gallagher, Lifford
The death has taken place on January 27 at Letterkenny University Hospital of Brigid Gallagher at the Coach House, Mount Southwell Place, Letterkenny and formerly of Sheercloon, Ballindrait.
Beloved daughter of the late Ellen and Patrick Gallagher and much-loved sister of Gracie (Tourish) and the late Patrick, Seamus, Vincent, Christina and Raymond.
Reposing at Quigley`s Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 28 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Funeral leaving the funeral home on Thursday at 6pm to St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford to repose overnight.
Requiem Mass on Friday at 1pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sister, nieces, nephews and family circle.

Lawrence O'Toole, Finglas and Killybegs
The death has taken place of Lawrence O'Toole, late of Finglas and Killybegs.
He passed peacefully away on January 23 in the loving care of his family and the Palliative Care Team of the Mater Hospital.
Beloved son of the late Mary and Francis, loving brother of Brendan, Elizabeth, Mary, Rita and Bridget.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his brother and sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at the Fanagan Funeral Home, Church Street, Finglas on Monday, February 2 from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St Canice’s Church, Finglas arriving for 11am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium.
The family wish to sincerely thank the carers especially Mary and Thomas from Finglas Home Care who were so kind and caring to Lawrence in recent years.
