Anthony 'Con' Gallagher, Frosses and UK

The death has occurred peacefully in London of Anthony ‘Con’ Gallagher, Edgware, UK and Meenagran, Frosses.

Anthony is predeceased by his wife Freddie and his siblings Connie, Kathleen, Marie and Patrick.

Sadly missed by his beloved sons Anthony (Catherine) and John and is also survived by his loving grandchildren Catriona, Conal, Ryan, Maeve and Eamonn, his siblings Theresa, Margaret and Agnes, many nieces and nephews and wide circle of friends in Ireland and the UK.

Mass in the UK at St Anthony’s Church, Edgware, London on Wednesday at 6pm

Anthony’s remains will arrive at The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses, Co. Donegal at 6pm on Friday, December for reception prayers and to repose overnight.

Louise O'Loughlin, Raphoe

The sudden death has occurred of Louise O’Loughlin, 12 Castle Grove, Raphoe, F93 HK31.

Lovingly missed by her father Pauric, stepmother Roberta, son Eoghan, daughter Kai, and her sisters and brothers Carmel (Declan), Katrina, Shaun (Leanne), Janice (Kevin), Leanne, Deborah (Jason), Bobby, Stephen, Natalie, and Ryan; deeply regretted also by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Louise was predeceased by her mother Patricia and her sister Annmarie. 

Louise's remains will repose at her late residence on Tuesday from 7pm to 10pm and Wednesday from 11am to 10pm. Rosary will be recited on both evenings at 9pm. Family time, please, on the morning of the funeral.

The funeral cortege will leave her late residence on Thursday morning at 11.30 am, proceeding to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe, for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The Funeral Mass may be viewed online via the parish webcam

Liam Gallagher, Bruckless

The death has occurred peacefully of Liam Gallagher, Bruckless. He passed away peacefully at Donegal Community Hospital, Donegal Town, surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Eilis, sons Patsy (Angela) and Barry (Tina), daughters Marguerite (Michael Cowburn deceased) and Mary (Dom), his brother Dessie (Bernie), his sisters Ita Harvey and Eithne Byrne, nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his infant son Brian, brother Patsy, sisters Bridget, Eileen, Mollie and Greta.

His remains are reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, F94 X02N on Tuesday from 2pm until 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Thursday in the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless, at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Donegal Community Hospital, care of Gallaghers Funeral Home, Mountcharles.

Desmond Gibbons, Roscommon and Bundoran

The death has taken place suddenly at his home, of Desmond Gibbons, Ballincurry, Kilrooskey, Roscommon and Stracomer View, Bundoran.

Beloved son of the late Gerald and Pauline, he will be very sadly missed by his sisters and brothers Mary, Josephine, Eileen, Seamus, Gerry, Pauline and Michael, his close friends Aidan, Brendan and Darragh, his god-daughter Codie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

His remains are reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Wednesday from 4.30pm until 6.30pm.

Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 11.40am arriving at St Mary’s Church, Ballagh, F42 X432 for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Kilgefin Cemetery.

Lexie Spratt, Letterkenny

The death has taken place at his home of Lexie Spratt, Garryharry, Letterkenny.

Lexie is survived by his sons Melvin, Graham (Alison) and Jason (Katie), daughters Amanda, Yvonne Brogan (Brian), Lorraine Brogan (Ciaran) and Orla Baxter (Raymond), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Lizzie McMenamin (Philadelphia), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. He is predeceased by his wife Tillie (2024), brothers Jimmy and Mathew and sisters Martha Saddler, Ruby Russell and Sarah Spratt.

Lexie’s remains are reposing at his late residence. House private to family and neighbours only please.

Funeral leaving Lexie’s late residence on Wednesday at 1.15pm going to Conwal Parish Church, Letterkenny for Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm. Interment will take place afterwards in Gortlee Cemetery, Letterkenny.

Michael Sr McLoone, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Michael McLoone (Senior), Abbeylane, Ballyshannon, F94 F6D7. He passed away peacefully in the gentle and exceptional care of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Ballyshannon Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Philip and Kathleen McLoone, and his brother Philip, Michael is survived by his loving wife Imelda, his sons, Michael, David, Philip and daughter Caroline, his daughters in-law Elaine, Aoife and Louise, son in-law Noel. Adored by his grandchildren Aaron, Kate, Daniel, Nicole, Emily and Conall, brothers Peter (and Liz), Paul (and Marie) and sister Catherine, nieces, nephews and all his extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his residence Abbeylane, Ballyshannon, on Monday and Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm. The house shall be private to family outside of these times and on the morning of the funeral.  A one-way system will take place during the wake. Entrance by the Abbey lane with exit to the Rossnowlagh Road via the Abbey Mill wheel. 

Removal on Wednesday from his residence at 10.15am to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by service of interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery. The funeral Mass shall be streamed live on St Patrick's Church webcam
