Michael (Mack) Mc Laughlin, Castlefin

The death has taken place November at his home of Michael (Mack) Mc Laughlin, Drumnahaw, Castlefinn.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Teresa (Mamie), much loved father of Gerard, Catriona, Sinead, Michelle, Theresa and Cecelia, and brother of Evelyn, Seamus and the late Dympna, Phyllis, Eilish and Patricia. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing son, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sister, family circle and friends.

His remains are reposing at his daughter Catriona`s home, Drumnahaw, Castlefin, F93 RR68, on Monday from 5pm. Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving his daughter’s home on Thursday at 9.20am for Requiem Mass in St Mary`s Church, Castlefin at 10am with interment afterwards in St Columba`s Cemetery, Doneyloop. Mass can be viewed on the parish Facebook page

Anne Leslie, Bruckless

The death has occurred of Anne Leslie, Benroe, Bruckless and formerly of Waterside, Derry. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Bert, she is sadly missed and deeply regretted by her daughter Alanna (Kevin), her sons, Sean, Brian (Mairead), Ruaidhri, Gareth, Neil (Dolores) and Brendan, her adoring grandchildren Kevin, Leila, Mason, Hugh, Felicity, Parker, Freya, Hailey and Renee, her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Anne's remains are reposing at her residence on Monday from 3pm to 9pm and on Tuesday from 3pm to 9pm. House private on the morning of the funeral please. A one-way system will be in operation during wake times. Entry at Killybegs and exit at Bruckless.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Donegal Hospice or Crumlin Children's Hospital care of any family member.

Lily McElhinney, Dunfanaghy

The death has taken place at the Lake House Nursing Home, Portnablagh of Lily McElhinney, née Stewart, Rush Vale, Kill, Dunfanaghy, F92 R2P3.

Sadly missed and much loved by her sons Samuel (Heather), Alan (Rosaleen) and Ivan (Sharon) and her daughter Hazel (Andrew Alcorn), her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brother Charles, sister Eileen, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy McElhinney and granddaughters Elaine McElhinney and Janice Alcorn.

Reposal continues at her home on Monday from 11am to 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral. 

Funeral Service in Holy Trinity Church, Hornhead Road, Dunfanaghy, on Tuesday at 2pm with burial afterwards in Clondahorkey Cemetery.

Alice Stuart, Inch Island

The death has occurred of Alice Stuart, The Patches, Ballynakilly, Inch Island F93 P959.

Predeceased by her loving husband Arthur, her sisters Edna and Adrienne, her brother Bert and grandson Andrew. Much-loved mother of Terri McGlynn and Les. Cherished grandmother of Chris, Nicki, Dominic, Orla, Aoife, Eoin and Niall. Loving sister of Josie; deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her loving daughter, son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Alice’s remains are reposing at her daughter Terri McGlynn’s home, The Patches, Ballynakilly, Inch Island F93 P959. 

Removal from there on Tuesday at 10.15am to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Inch Island for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed on YouTube Fahan Parish. Family time please from 11pm to 11am and family only please on the morning of the funeral.

Margaret McGrenaghan, Culdaff

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Margaret McGrenaghan, Kilmaroo, Culdaff, F93 H5NK.

Beloved wife of Brian, and much-loved mother of Bernadette, Sean, Claire (Phil), Caroline (Patsy), Siobhan, Eilis (Kieran) and Brian (Sinead). Cherished granny of Tara, Seán, Clodagh, John, Aoife, Lyla-Rose, Jack, Killian, Brian, Dáire and Tommy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother Daniel, her nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Margaret’s remains are reposing at her home.

Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.20 am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Bocan, followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 11am, and on the morning of the funeral. Requiem Mass can be viewed live on www.culdaffparish.com.

Michael James McCormick, Castlefinn

The death has taken place of Michael James McCormick, Cardonald, Glasgow, formerly of Tievebrack, Castlefinn, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Loving and caring husband to Kathleen, beloved father of Michael, Kevin, Danny, Christopher and Kathleen. Dearly loved grandfather of Maxine, Michael, Maria, Mark, Dylan, Christopher, Kyle, Kara, Molly and Jude. Sadly mourned by his daughters-in-law Janet, Zoe, Kim and son-in-law Michael. Cherished brother of the McCormick siblings, Tievebrack, Castlefinn.

Reposal continues at the home of his sister, Celine Durning, Mullanboy, Castlefinn, F93KRT4, from 11am on Monday with Rosary at 9.30pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday at 11.30am going to St Mary’s Church, Castlefinn for 12 noon funeral Mass followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.  Viewing of funeral service online here.

Anne Deeney, Rathmullan

The death has occurred at Pier House, Rathmullan, F92 V3K2, of Anne Deeney.

Predeceased by her husband Jim and brothers Fr Dan, John and James. Sadly missed by sons Brian, Paul and Brendan, daughters Mary and Eithne, grandchildren James, Brendan, Anna, Ellen, John, Aileen and Conor, sons-in-law Gerry and Niall, daughters-in-law Fionnuala and Triona. She is also mourned by her sisters Eileen O’ Doherty IBVM and Mary O’Donnell, her brother Michael O’Doherty, her brother-in-law Fr Eddie Deeney SMA, her nieces, nephews, neighbours, carers and large circle of friends.

Reposal continues at her home on Monday from 3pm to 9pm, with Rosary at 9pm. House private on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in St Joseph’s Church Rathmullan with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on the St Joseph’s Church webcam.

Edward McFadden, Carrigart

The peaceful death has taken place in his 100th year at Aras Ui Dhomnaill Nursing Home, Milford, of Edward Mc Fadden (Edwin) , Carrick, Carrigart.

Predeceased by his parents and brothers, fondly missed and remembered by his nieces,nephews, friends and wider family circle.

His remains reposed overnight at St John the Baptist Church, Carrigart.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in the old graveyard.

Gertie Logue, Moville

The death has taken place at her home of Gertie Logue, Ciuin Mara, Carnagarve, Moville F93 K9N7

Predeceased by her husband Seamus, and much loved mother of Sean. Predeceased by her sisters Mary and Rosaleen, and her bothers Leonard, Vincent, and Eunan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters Nan, Monica and Nuala, her nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Gertie’s remains are reposing at her home. Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Funeral from there on Monday at 11.20am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St Pius X Church, Moville, followed by interment in Ballybrack cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed live here.

Peter Patton, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place at his late residence of Peter Patton, Dromore, Letterkenny, F92 PY28, and formerly of Magheraboy, Midcut, Drumkeen.

Husband of his late beloved Rose, predeceased by his parents Peter and Bella, sisters Mary, Bella, Rosaleen, Rita and Ethna, and infant sister Rose, and his niece Emily. Peter is deeply mourned by his sons and daughters; Isadore (Liam), Marie (Michael), Peter (Michelle), Rosaleen (Pauric), Louise (Bryan), Neil (Keara), Ethna (Kevin), Gerard (Ewelina), Daniel (Tina), his adore grandchildren, Aisling, Laura, Anraí and Sarah, Chanice and Adam, Leah and Grace, Stephen; Elyse and Daniel, Ruby, Peter and James, Kamil, Rose and David, and Chloe, Mollie and Danny, great-grandchildren, Henry, Charlie, Robbie and Julia. Peter will be forever missed by his brothers Paddy (Letterkenny), Jim (Trimragh) and Tommy (Canada) and sister Peggy (Listillion) and by his Dear Late Wife Rose’s family, The Mc Bride Family, Glenalla. As well as relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in The Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live here.

Fergus McNulty, Stranorlar

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny, of Fergus McNulty, 9 Drumboe Lower, Stranorlar F93 FPT8.

Beloved husband of Rita, much loved father to Michael (Caroline), Colin, Deirdre (Max), Andrew (Teresa), Terry (Carina) Aine (Dermot), Robert (Levina), devoted grandfather to Luca, Liam, Niall, Ronan, Dylan, Aurora, cherished brother of Michael (Sheila), Mary (Patsy deceased), Keneth (Sarah), Irene (Mick). Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral leaving his late residence on Monday at 10.30 am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar, at 11am. Interment in Drumboe cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the webcam.

Steve Monro, Bridgend

The death has occurred of Steve Monro, Drumadoey, Bridgend F93 P8C5.

Beloved husband of Caroline, loving father of Maisie and Alfie, cherished son of Paul and Anne, dear brother of Ian and brother-in-law of Gemma, sadly missed by Uncle Paul, extended family and friends.

Removal from his home on Monday to St Mura’s Church, Fahan for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by removal to Lakelands Crematorium for cremation at 3pm. Requiem Mass can be viewed live here.
