Sean McGee, Ballintra

The death has occurred of Sean McGee, Ballymagroarty, Scotch, Ballintra, Donegal, F94 V5X6.

He passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents John and Philomena (nee Ward).

Adored husband of his soulmate Charlotte (nee McCrea), father to his beloved children Shauna (Pierre) and Diarmaid (Siobhán). Loving grandfather to his beautiful granddaughter Aisling and cherished brother to his sisters, Anne-Marie (Jim) and Caroline,

Fondly remembered by his sister in law Valerie (Jackie), his nieces, Kiara, Donna and Amy, nephews, Clifford, James and Rory, his cousin Carol and his grandnephew's Marcus and Conall.

Reposing at his residence from 12 noon to 9pm. Please note a one way system for those attending the wake with entry at Racoo L2325 and exiting onto the Rossnowlagh Road at Foyagh Bridge.

In addition, there will a parking and shuttle bus service from 5pm until 9pm each evening of the wake for those wishing to avail of same, departing from E&J oil depot, Ballymagroarty.

Family home private on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday in St Brigid's Church, Ballintra at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Joseph McGarvey, Dublin and Gweedore

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) McGarvey, Tallaght and formerly from Gweedore, Co. Donegal on October 31, peacefully at St Vincent’s Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Patty and his dear son Paul.

Loving dad to Janice, Helen, Trish and Cathal. Joe will be forever loved and always remembered by his family, sisters Rose, Madge and Mary, brothers John and Charlie, sister-in-law Shelagh, daughters-in-law Martha and Tina, sons-in-law David, Chris and Ben, his much loved and cherished grandchildren Paul, Isadora, Yasmin, Cathal, Evan, Isabella, Ryan, David, Brandon and Harry, great-grandchildren Daniel and Olivia, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in his home on Tuesday, November 4 from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 10am in St Dominic’s Church, Tallaght, following onto Bohernabreena Cemetery for burial.

Donal Mc Intyre, Laghey, Donegal

The death has taken place of Donal Mc Intyre, Trummon East, Laghey. He passed away peacefully on  October 31 in the loving care of the wonderful staff at North West Hospice, and surrounded by his loving family.

Will be forever loved, sadly missed, and in the hearts of his loving parents Ann and Donie, his twin brother Shane, and his very special sister-in law, Mary.

Deeply regretted by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and all his extended family and friends.

Private removal from Tir Conaill Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94 FX3A to Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road Cavan on Monday 3 for private cremation at 3 pm.

No flowers please, donations in lieu to North West Hospice, Sligo, c/o any family member or Cassidy bros Undertakers

James Morgan, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of James Morgan, Gortin, Ballyloskey, Carndonagh.

Predeceased by his wife Mary and his son Mick. Dear brother of Mary, Ann and Tony.

Deeply regretted by his granddaughter Sara, her husband Will, his great-grandchildren Jake and Liv, his nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains will repose at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93YE1C from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, November 3 and 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, where all are welcome to pay their respects.

Removal from there on Wednesday at 10:20am, going to St Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff for 11am requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Requiem Mass can be viewed live on the parish webcam.

James Coll, Creeslough, Donegal

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of James Coll, Drimnacarry, Creeslough. Co. Donegal.

House strictly private please, family only.

Funeral mass in St. Columba’s Church, Termon on Wednesday 5th November 2025 at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Croíbhriste ina dhiaidh tá a chéile Lori, a chlann Michael (Brandi) agus Moya (Leo) agus a gharchlann,Wyatt agus Olive. Leasmhac ionúin do Bhrendan Kearney, deartháir ionúin Mháire, Chonaill, Lillis, Chlíona agus Mhéabh, agus an duine ab óige den teaghlach, tá siad uilig á chronú go mór. Ar shiúl roimhe ar Shlí na Fírinne tá a athair Lillis agus a mháthair Bernie; athair agus máthair Lori, Arnie agus Sue; agus a dheirfiúr chéile ionúin Mary O’Leary. Paul O’Leary, from Gortahork, Co. Donegal, died on September 3 at his home in New Jersey, USA.

Heartbroken are his wife, Lori, his children Michael (Brandi), and Moya (Leo), and his grandchildren, Wyatt and Olive. Beloved stepson of Brendan Kearney, much loved brother of Máire, Conal, Lillis, Clíona and Méabh, he was the youngest of his siblings, all of whom miss him greatly. Gone before him on the Way of Truth are his parents Lillis and Bernie; his wife Lori’s parents, Arnie and Sue; and his beloved sister-in-law, Mary O’Leary. Gregarious and fun-loving, Paul is also mourned by a wide circle of extended family and friends.

Fr Donnchadh Ó Baoill, PP Gortahork, will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Paul’s memory on Saturday, November 8 in the Church of Christ the King at 1pm. Mass will be live streamed on the parish webcam

Rev Sheila Johnson, Derrybeg

The death has occurred of Rev Sheila Johnson, née Rowe, Rainbow's End, Carrickmacafferty, Derrybeg.

She is sadly missed by her loving husband Stanley, son Timothy, daughters Melanie and Wendy, son-in-law Derrick, daughter-in-law Fiona, grandchildren Cian, Aoife, Roisin, Diarmuid, Caoimhe, Ruth, Katy and Thomas and great grandchildren, sister Kathleen and brother Teddy, and extended families, predeceased by her brothers Bertie and Bobby, sisters Doreen and Hilda.

No wake, house private please. Viewing will take place at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Sunday from 3pm to 5pm followed by removal to St John`s Church, Ballymore for 6pm to repose overnight.

Funeral service will take place there on Monday at 2pm. Cremation will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, County Cavan on Tuesday at 2pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the MS and ME Associations c/o any family member or James Harkin, Funeral Director.

Robert Reid, Killygordon

The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Robert Reid, Bohanboy, Killygordon, F93 EO44.

Much loved husband of Lily, beloved father of Robert (Carol), Edward (Anna), Jayne (Marcus), Andrew (Carol) and Sarah (Derek). Robert will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Aaron (Tamara), Jordan, Dillon, Uná, Ciara, Niamh, Mark, Andrew, Lily, Emily, Rebecca, Adam, Rachel, Sean, Aimee, his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.

His remains will repose at his home from 2pm to 10pm on Saturday and from 2pm to 10pm on Sunday. Family time please on the morning of the funeral. 

Funeral leaving from there on Monday at 1.15pm going to Donoughmore Presbyterian Church for 2pm Service of Thanksgiving, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to Letterkenny University Hospital and the Donegal Hospice care of any family member or Terence McClintock Funeral Director.
