The death has occurred of

Dylan Ward, Donegal Town, Donegal

The death has occurred of Dylan Ward, Millrace Crescent, Donegal Town. He passed away suddenly surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved son of Daniel and Fiona and brother to Leah. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his Grandad Dom, his aunts, uncles, cousins and his large circle of friends. Rest in Peace

Dylan’s remains will be reposing in Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94 FX3A from 4pm until 9pm on Thursday.

Funeral mass in St Mary’s church Killymard on Friday at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only donations if so desired to Barrettstown in memory of Dylan. House Private at All Times.

Eddie (Patrick) McGuinness, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Eddie (Patrick) McGuinness, Roshin (Tyrone), Killybegs, Co. Donegal.

Predeceased by his wife Rosaleen, daughter Mary and parents John James and Catherine. Sadly missed by his sons and daughters, Patricia (Michael), John (Doug), Patrick (Kieran), Capbrinia (Aaron), Caroline (Alan) Marina (John), Breda (Fintan) and Kevin, grandchildren Michaela, Alana, Ryan, Tegan, Daniel, Lucy, Jack , Abbie, Joseph and Róisin, sisters Adalaide and Bridget, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

House strictly private on Wednesday, August 20. Reposing at his residence on Thursday and Friday from 11am to 9pm.

Removal on Saturday at 10.30am to St Mary of the Visitation Church Killybegs for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice care of any family member or McBrearty Funeral Directors.

Please note that there will be a one way traffic system in place during wake hours, entering from the Arctic side and exiting through Glenlee.

Thomas James Spratt, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Thomas James Spratt, 288 Bomany Cottages, Letterkenny, and formerly of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Sadly missed by his sisters Betty Boal, Isobel mc Gregor, Ann Doherty and his brother Henry, nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by his brother Richard and sister Ethel Gordon, Scotland.

Thomas will reposing at the Letterkenny Funeral Home, F92P407 on Thursday, August 21 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Cremation to follow in Lakelands Cavan. Any enquiries to Con McDaid Funeral Directors.

Hugh Francis Shovlin, Portnoo

The death has taken place suddenly at his home of Hugh Francis Shovlin, Ballykilduff, Portnoo, Co Donegal. F94A627

Predeceased by his loving Wife Betty (nee Roche). He will be deeply missed by his brothers Seamus, Pat, Neil, Pete, Bill, John and Matthew, his Sisters Mary and Isabel, The Roche family (Rosslare ,Co.Wexford), his extended Family, heartbroken neighbours and friends.

His remains will repose at his residence from 6pm this evening, Wednesday, August 20.

Funeral from there on Friday to St Conal's Church Kilclooney for 11am requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Conor Porter, Raphoe

The death has occurred surrounded by his loving family of Conor Porter, Townparks, Raphoe.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son Conor, his daughters Diane and Sarah-Jane, daughter-in-law Jessica, sons-in-law Darryl and Andy, his grandchildren: Anna, Niall, Ryan, Fíonn, Oisín, Conor and Ciarán and his sisters and brothers Margaret (Skerries), Mary (Letterkenny), Catherine, Joseph, Patricia, Raymond (Philadelphia), Bernadette (Hove), Carmel (Philadelphia), John Michael (New Ross), Liam, Fionnuala (Philadelphia), Una (Philadelphia), his Uncle George, Aunt Rita, Uncle Pat, Aunt Philomena, all his extended family, neighbours and many dear friends.

Conor was predeceased by his wife Mary and parents Kathleen and Joe, may they Rest In Peace. Conor will repose at his late residence, Townparks, Raphoe, F93 Y864 on Wednesday, August 20 from 4.00pm to 9.00pm and on Thursday, August 21 from 11.00am to 9.00pm.

The funeral cortege will leave his late residence on Friday morning at 10.30am travelling to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe for 11.00am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery

Mickey McCormack, Churchill

The death has taken place of Mickey Mc Cormack, Glendowan, Churchill.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents, Andy and Mary, baby McCormack, son Michael, and grandson Daniel.

Survived by his loving wife Celia, daughter Amanda & her husband John, grandchildren Gavin, Fíonn, Sàoirse and Cuinn. Great-grand children Aria, Charlotte, Faidh & Ella. Deeply regretted by his extended family members, neighbours & many friends.

Mickey’s remains will repose at his daughter Amanda Boyce’s residence, Cornagullion, Glendowan, (F92 NX94) from 11am on Wednesday, August 20.

Funeral from there on Friday morning 22nd Aug for Requiem Mass in St.Colmcille’s Church, Glendowan at 11am, followed by interment in Templedouglas cemetery.

John Edward Coyle, Bunbeg

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of John Edward Coyle of An Draighean, Bunbeg and formerly of Glasgow. Predeceased by his parents; Bridget and Manus.

Sadly missed by his wife Ann, daughters; Caitlín, Treasa & Róisín, son-in-law Michael, sisters; Bríd, Winnie, Madge, Ann-Marie and Maureen, brothers; Pata, Joe, Eddie, Jim & Paul and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his home (F92 TX49) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am to 8pm. Rosary nightly at 8pm.
House private after rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

John's Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, August 21 at 11am in St Patrick's Church, Meenaweal, interment afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery.

The funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director's Facebook page and on the church webcam.

There will be a one-way system in operation to the wake house, enter at the old chemist and exit on the factory road.

Tommy Lynch, Ballyshannon and Kerry

The death has taken place of Tommy Lynch, 46 Ernedale Heights, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal and formerly of Ballylongford, Co Kerry.

He passed away peacefully in the gentle and exceptional care of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Ballyshannon Community Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Dolan). Tommy will be sadly missed by his children Ciarán & Sinéad, daughter-in-law Tara, son-in-law Jason, his Grandchildren, Evan, Oran, Anna and Ronan, his brother Michael (New York), sisters-in-law Norann Lynch and Anna Dolan, brothers-in-law Eddie Mangan, Martin & Eugene Dolan, Nephews, Nieces, close relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Lynch, his brothers John and Donal and Sister Mary B and the deceased members of the Lynch and Dolan families.

Reposing at his late residence (F94 VW13), on Wednesday, August 20 from 2pm to 8pm (house private all other times). Funeral to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Chapel Street, Ballyshannon, F94 W282 on Thursday, August 21 for Mass of the Resurrection at 2pm, with burial afterwards at St. Joseph's Cemetery, The Rock, Ballyshannon, F94 PF53.

Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, in lieu of flowers to the patient comfort fund at the Ballyshannon Community Hospital c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon or any family member.

Charles Sheeran, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of Charles Sheeran, Stonepark, Mountcharles, peacefully.

Greatly missed by his family, David, John and Catherine, and large extended family.

Predeceased by his wife Catherine, parents John and Matilda, and his brother’s and sister.

Remains reposing at his late residence. House private to family only please.

Funeral mass on Thursday, August 21 in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Lilyan Holmes, Killybegs

The peaceful death has occurred of Lilyan Holmes, née Melly, formerly of The Hill, Killybegs. She passed away peacefully at her home in Edmonds, Seattle, USA surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her infant son Noel and her parents John and Rosaleen, she will be sadly missed by her husband John, sons John (Kate) and Michael, her grandchildren, Jack, John Victor, Freddie and Niamh, her brothers and sisters, Michael, Faustina (Hughie), Fiona and Shane, her much loved Nieces and Nephews, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass to be held in St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs on Thursday at 7pm.
