Lilyan Holmes, Killybegs
The peaceful death has occurred of Lilyan Holmes, née Melly, formerly of The Hill, Killybegs. She passed away peacefully at her home in Edmonds, Seattle, USA surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her infant son Noel and her parents John and Rosaleen, she will be sadly missed by her husband John, sons John (Kate) and Michael, her grandchildren, Jack, John Victor, Freddie and Niamh, her brothers and sisters, Michael, Faustina (Hughie), Fiona and Shane, her much loved Nieces and Nephews, extended family and friends.
Requiem Mass to be held in St Mary of the Visitation Church Killybegs on Thursday at 7pm.
Veronica Behan, Carrigart and Dublin, UK and Canada
The death has taken place of Veronica Behan, née McDarby, Gortnabrade, Carrigart and formerly London, Ontario and Shantalla Road, Whitehall, Dublin. She passed away surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff of the Donegal Hospice.
Predeceased by her loving husband Kevin, brothers and sisters, she will be greatly missed and remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Donegal:
Her remains reposed overnight at the Church of St John the Baptist, Carrigart.
Funeral Mass takes place at 11am on Saturday.
Dublin:
Her remains will arrive at Frank Jennings undertaker Greendale Road, Foxfield, Dublin 5 for repose on Tuesday from 2pm to pm.
Funeral Mass at The Church of The Holy Child, Whitehall Wednesday at 11am.
Patrick Michael Gallen, Clonmany
The death has taken place at his home of Patrick Michael Gallen, Main Street, Clonmany, former postmaster, Clonmany post office.
Predeceased by his wife Brid, née McFadden, loving father of Megan (Mickey) and Michael, brother of Gerard, Anne and Emer.
Reposing of his remains continues at his home on Saturday from 12 noon to 10pm. House private on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral leaving from there Sunday at 2.15pm, going to St Mary's Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 2.30pm, with burial afterwards in the new cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Friends of Inishowen Hospice, c/o any family member or Comiskey Funeral Directors.
Peter Campbell, Glenties
The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Peter Campbell, Silverhill, Glenties, F94VP66.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Susan, son Cathal, daughters Mary Rose (Brian), Philomena, Siobhan (John), Eileen (Colm) and Gráinne, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Peter is predeceased by his parents Charlie and Róise, his sister Mary Brigid and Susie Ann, his brother Charlie and infant brother.
reposing of Peter's remains continues at his home from 12 noon on Saturday, with Rosary nightly at 9pm. A shuttle bus will be in operation from Edeninfagh Church car park for the duration of the wake. Family time from after the Rosary both nights and on the morning of the funeral.
Requiem Mass on Sunday at 1.30pm in The Church of The Holy Family, Edeninfagh, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
Michael Loughrey, Rathmullan
The death has taken place peacefully at home of Michael Loughrey, Drumhalla, Rathmullan.
Deeply regretted his loving wife Rose Ann, sons Kevin (Caroline) and Mark, grandchildren Bronagh, John, Killian, Ríadh and Micheál, brothers Fr Neil, Paddy, Dan, Paul and Noel, sisters Mary, Siobhan, Evelyn and Stella, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents John and Rosie and his brother John.
Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am in St Catherine’s Church, Oughterlin. Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery. Those attending the wake should park at St Catherine’s Church, Oughterlin, F92 A432, and a bus will be provided from there.
Siobhan Mc Brearty, Kilcar
The peaceful death has occurred of Siobhan Mc Brearty, née Gillespie, Churchtown, Kilcar, Donegal, F94TW93. She passed away at Donegal Hospice surrounded by her loving family after a short illness.
Predeceased by her husband Con, Siobhan is sadly missed by her children, Mary and Peter (Churchtown), Sean and Fiona (Letterkenny), Susie and Joe (Gweedore), Martina (Letterkenny), Gerry (Letterkenny), Paul and Mary (Ballina), Donal and Annette (Carrick), Jacinta (Letterkenny) and Una and Vincent (Claregalway). She is fondly remembered by her much loved 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
House strictly private on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11am in St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, F94KA07, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Carrick Day Care Centre care of any family member or Mc Shane Funeral Directors.
