Rose Rutherford, Carndonagh
The peaceful death has taken place at The Donegal Hospice of Rose Rutherford née Doherty, The Park, Ballyloskey Carndonagh.
Predeceased by her loving husband Bernard, and much-loved mother of Amanda and Paul.
Dear sister of Anne and Neil, predeceased by John, Nora, Sr. Marietta, Jimmy, Packie and Billy.
Sorely missed by her grandchildren Karlann, Kealan, Daisy, Kauri and Willow, her daughter-in-law Hilary, her extended family, friends and neighbours.
Her remains will repose at her late residence from 11:00am tomorrow Sunday where all are welcome to pay their respects.
Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10:20am going to Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Sean (John) Mc Nern, Inver
The death has occurred of Sean (John) Mc Nern, Castleogeary, Inver, (F94 HN25) surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Johny, sister Bridget Rose and niece Margaret.
Sadly missed by his wife Rose, daughter Mary, sons John, James and Daniel and their partners, grandchildren; Jayden, Mason, Skylar, Shayne, Freya, nieces & nephews, sister Ann (Brendan) and all his extended family.
Reposing at his late residence on Saturday from 4pm until 10pm. House private on the morning of the funeral, please.
Removal from his late residence on Sunday, July 13 going to St Nauls Church, Ardaghey for 11am funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

David Millar, St Johnston
The sudden death has taken place at his home of David Millar, Milltown,
St Johnston. David is predeceased by his mother Pearl. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his father William, brother Alan, sister Gerda, sister in law Julie and the wider family circle.
David’s remains will repose at his home on Saturday, July 12 from 1pm to 9pm. Family and friends only please.

Brendan McHugh, Dublin and Portnoo
The death has taken place of Brendan McHugh, late of Rathfarnham, Dublin and Lough Doon, Portnoo.
He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family who will be forever grateful for the exceptional care given to Brendan by all of the staff in St Michael’s ward, Anna Gaynor House, Our Lady’s Hospice.
Predeceased by his sister Bernadette and his brothers Tom, Frank, Josie, John, Vincent, Martin and Gerald.
Brendan was a loving husband to Ann and cherished father to Adrian and Shane, daughters in-law Mariko and Maggie, loving Grandad to Kai and Bonnie, brothers Kevin and Willie, sisters Marie, Theresa and Noreen, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
His remains will be reposing at his home residence in Rathfarnham on Saturday, July 12 from 5pm.
Reposing at Shovlins Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara, Co Donegal on Sunday July 13th from 6pm to 8pm.
Funeral from there on Monday, July 14, travelling via Lough Doon to St Conals Church, Kilclooney for 11am requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Helen McIntyre, Greencastle
The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Helen McIntyre, Croragh House, Drumaweir, Greencastle F93 YF95.
Beloved wife of David Sr and much loved mother of David Jr, Caroline, Helaine and Nigel.Devoted nanny of Jensen and Aodha.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers, William, Gerard, Peter, John, Diarmaid and Paul, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Helen’s remains will repose at Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN on Friday July 11 from 12.30pm to 2pm, where everyone is welcome to pay their respects. Removal at 2pm to the family home in Greencastle.
Funeral from there on Sunday, July 13 at 1.30pm for 2pm Funeral Service in Moville Presbyterian Church, followed by burial in Greencastle Church of Ireland graveyard.

Peter Carr, Dublin and Raphoe
The death has occurred of Peter Carr, Goatstown, Dublin and formerly of Raphoe, Donegal.
He passed away on July 6 2025, unexpectedly in Helsinki University Hospital, Finland with his children by his side.
Beloved husband of the late Anka and loving father of Tanja and Chris and beloved brother to Eimear and John.
He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren Clío and Rosa, step-grandson Jack, daughter-in-law Bobbi, son-in-law Zaine, sister-in-law Nalle, brother-in-law Jussi, his nephews & nieces and his grandnieces and nephews.
He will also be missed so much by all his extended family, friends and neighbours both in Ireland and Finland.

The death has occurred suddenly on June 28 of Joe O’Donnell, St Helier, Jersey, and formerly of Ardsmore, Gortahork, Co. Donegal.
Predeceased by his loving parents Bernard and Gracie O’Donnell, he is sadly missed by his brothers David McNally and David O’Donnell, sisters Julie and Marianne O’Donnell, his nieces and nephews, Fionn, Naincí, Gracie, Úna, Sally, Maureen, Daphne and Oscar. Brothers- and sister-in-law Brian, John and Abi, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends in Jersey and Donegal.

The death has occurred suddenly at home, of Spencer Sherwin, Milltown, Barnesmore.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Catriona, Mum Dianne, Brother Paul and extended family.
