Death notices for Donegal on Friday morning

The following deaths have taken place:

- Maura Mc Fadden, Ramelton

- Billy Mulhall, Donegal Town and Dublin

Rosemary Keogh, Dublin and Buncrana

The death has taken place of Rosemary (Roma) Keogh, née Holland, Dalkey, Dublin and formerly of Killiney, Dublin, and Buncrana, Donegal. She died peacefully in her 91st year, in the care of Our Lady’s Manor Nursing Home, Dalkey and her special carer Nhetie.

Beloved wife of the late Cyril, loving sister of Doreen Mooney; sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 10am in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Castle Street, Dalkey, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome.

Robert Elliott, Donegal Town and Lettermacaward

The death has taken place of Robert Elliot, 30 Railway Park, Donegal Town, Donegal, F94 H3E9 and formerly of Farrigans, Leitir.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Veronica, daughter Kelly, her partner Kenny, son Keelin and all the extended Elliott and McCready families.

His remains are reposing in Tir Conaill Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94 FX3A, on Friday from 2pm to 9pm, and at his late residence on Saturday from 2pm to 9pm. House strictly private on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral Service in Donegal Parish Church at 2.30pm Sunday followed by burial in the Glebe Cemetery, Donegal Town.

John Lee, Dublin and Ballyshannon

The death has taken place peacefully surrounded by his family in the tender care of the staff of St Vincent’s University Hospital, of retired Detective Garda John Lee, Richmond Hill, Rathmines, Dublin 6, and formerly of Ballyshannon.

Predeceased by his father John; adored husband of Fiona, loving and much-loved father of Ciara and John, and beloved son of Roisin. John will be forever loved and dearly missed by his wife and children, his mother, brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains are reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, Templeogue Village, D6W AC82 on Friday afternoon from 3pm to 6pm.

Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of Mary Immaculate Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines Road arriving for 10am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation Service at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.

Dara McDermott, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Dara McDermott, Calhame, Letterkenny, Donegal, F92 REH0. She passed away peacefully after a short illness in Letterkenny University Hospital.

Deeply regretted by her adored daughter Eimear, loving parents Paddy and Gabrielle, sister Patricia, brothers James and Karl, brother-in-law Kilian, sisters-in-law Edelle and Janie, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Her remains are reposing at the residence of her parents Paddy and Gabrielle McDermott, Calhame, Letterkenny, F92 REH0. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, with burial afterwards in New Leck Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Gynaecology Ward, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o any family member.

Maura Mc Fadden, Ramelton

The death has taken place peacefully at her home, of Maura Mc Fadden, née Friel, Bridge End, Ramelton, Donegal, F92 V8D2.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, Margaret, John, Joseph and Jennifer, brother Joe, son-in-law Michael, daughter-in-law Noleen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband William.

Her remains are reposing at her home. Family time from 10pm until 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/ramelton

Billy Mulhall, Donegal Town and Dublin

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Billy (Dublin Billy) Mulhall, 18 Mill Race Cresent, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, and formerly of Swords, Dublin.

Much loved father to Tony (Tricia), Shaun (Bridget), Kevin (Helen), Tina (Phil) and Rachel (Craig); forever remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Billy's remains are reposing at Tir Connaill Funeral Home, Donegal Town F94 FX3A on Wednesday from 6pm until 9pm. All welcome.

There was a Mass for Billy in St Patrick's Church, Donegal Town on Thursday at 10am with funeral proceeding to Rocks Funeral Home, North street, Swords, Co Dublin.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in St Sylvester's Church, Malahide, followed by burial afterwards in Malahide Cemetery, Yellow Walls Road.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, Letterkenny University Hospital.
