Death notices for Donegal on Monday evening

The following deaths have taken place:

- Michael (Mickey) McCallion, Carndonagh

- Charlie Cullen, Termon

- Robert McCallion, Mayo and Carndonagh

Michael McCallion, Carndonagh

The sudden death has taken place of Michael (Mickey) McCallion, 125 Ard Colgan, Carndonagh.

His remains will repose at the home of his sister Eileen, Carndoagh, Carndonagh F93Y98Y from 7pm on Monday where all are welcome to pay their respects. Family time please from 10pm to 10am.

Removal from there on Wednesday morning at 10.15am to Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for 11am Requiem Mass followed by internment in the adjoining cemetery. Requiem Mass can be viewed live on http://www.carndonaghparish.com/webcam.html

Charlie Cullen, Termon

The sudden death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Charles (Charlie) Cullen, Fawans, Termon. Charlie was cared for by the wonderful staff of Archview Lodge, Nursing Home, Drumany, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Hannah and brother Timothy, sadly missed by his sister Jean (James) McPaul, nieces Suzanne, Eileen and Mary Ellen, nephews Michael and John, relatives, friends and neighbours.

His remains are reposing at St Columba’s Church Termon, arriving at 7pm on Tuesday to repose overnight.

You are most welcome to pay your respects on Wednesday from 10.30am to 11am, followed by Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery.

Robert McCallion, Mayo and Carndonagh

The death has occurred of Robert (Bob) McCallion, Park Road, Swinford, Mayo and formerly of Magherarnett, Carndonagh, Co. Donegal.

Predeceased by his sons John and Robert, his parents John William and Nora. Loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Nancy, daughters Noreen and Deirdre, son-in-law Marty, daughter-in-law Colette, and his grandchildren, Alice, Aidan, Méabh, Sarah, Grace and Robert, his brothers Daniel (Dublin). Paddy (Donegal) and John (Sligo), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, family circle, neighbours, and his large circle of friends and former Garda Síochána colleagues.

Reposal of his remains continues at his home on Monday from 2pm until 6pm with removal to the Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Swinford arriving at 7pm.

Bob's Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on: https://www.churchservices.tv/swinford or Campbell Funeral Directors Facebook Page.
