The death has taken place of Annie Ferry, Loughanure, formerly of Carraig a tSeascain.Gaoth Dobhair.

Predeceased by her parents Dominic and Maggie, sister Nora, brother Brian, and nephew Martin; sadly missed by her husband Séamus, sons John (Louise), Brian(Sarah), Séamus(Caroline), daughters Máire(Tom) and Margaret, sisters Mairéad, Alice, Máire and Caitlín, brothers Séamus and Dominic, and her beloved grandchildren.

Her remains will repose at her home (F94 X2W2) on Monday and on Tuesday from 12pm to 8pm. Rosary nightly at 8pm.

Funeral Mass will take place in St Patrick's Church, Meenaweal (F92 CH22) on Wednesday at 11am, with interment afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director's Facebook page.

Nellie Gallagher, Churchill

The death has taken place peacefully at her late residence surrounded by her loving family, of Nellie Gallagher, née Gallagher, 
Tirargus, Churchill, Donegal, F92 X099

Predeceased by husband Danny (1996), brothers Dermot, Hughie, Danny and infant sister Mary; much-loved mother to son Don (Rosaleen), daughters Joan (Gerry), Fiona (Gerry), Elaine (Paul) and step daughter Deirdre; fondly remembered by her grandchildren Andrew, Eibhlin, Michael, Emer, Matthew, Katie and great grandson Fionn; deeply regretted by brothers Paddy and Micheal, extended family, good neighbours and friends.

Nellie's remains are reposing at her late residence. Family time from 10pm to 11am and on morning of the funeral

Funeral from there on Tuesday for Requiem Mass in St Colmcille’s Church, Glendowan at 12 noon, followed by interment in Gartan Cemetery.

Jimmy Logue, Downings

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Logue, Downings, Donegal, F92 KW14.

Beloved son of the late Cáit and Dan, brother of Bríd. Regretted by his nephew and nieces John, Kitty, Sarah and Anna and their families.

His remains are leaving the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest at 6pm on Sunday to repose at the residence of his late parents (F92 KW14). Family time from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral on Tuesday, going to the Church of St John the Baptist for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral may be viewed live on the Mevagh Parish Facebook page.

Francis Carr, Kilcar

The death has occurred of Francis Carr, suddenly but peacefully at his home in Cruckcarra, Kilcar.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brother Seán and sister Kathleen, he is sadly missed by his brother Bernard and sisters Mary Agnes, Bernadette and Goretti. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, his neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at Mc Cabe’s Funeral Home, Ardara, F94VCK1, on Easter Sunday from 5pm to 8pm, with removal afterwards to his late residence. House strictly private at all times please

Funeral Mass is on Tuesday at 11am in St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, F94KA07, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Anne Teresa Flanagan, Donegal and Fermanagh

The death has occurred of Anne (Annie) Teresa Flanagan, née Byrne. She passed away quietly in the peaceful surroundings of Aras Mhic Shuibne Nursing Home in her native Donegal.

Wife of the late Jim Flanagan, she will be deeply loved and sorely missed by her sons Damien (Leona) and Mark, daughter Lorraine (Bill), loving grandchildren Emma, Mia, James and Naoise; brothers Edward, Pat, Mick and her sister Margaret. Anne is predeceased by her sister May. Fondly remembered by her loving family members, friends and wonderful neighbours. 

Her remains are reposing at the Wark Hall, Belleek on Easter Monday from 4pm to 7pm. House private to family and neighbours.

Remains will arrive on Tuesday for 11am funeral Mass in St Patrick's Church, Belleek followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

William Kelly, Kilmacrennan

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of William Kelly, Ballykeeran, Kilmacrennan, F92 HX04.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons Luke and Dean, daughters Ann, Margaret, Kathleen, Mary, Maureen and Philomena, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; predeceased by his wife Hannah, sons John, Michael and William, daughters Julia and Charlotte and his parents Tom and Margaret.

His remains are reposing at his late residence. Family time from 12 midnight until 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem mass on Tuesday at 11am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny. Burial will take place afterwards in New Leck Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on Church Services TV, St Eunan’s Cathedral Letterkenny, at  https://www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny

Rosaleen Clarke, Dundalk and Dungloe

The death has occurred of Rosaleen Clarke, née McGinley, Plaster, Mountpleasant, Dundalk, County Louth and Dungloe, Donegal. She passed away peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick and siblings Charlie, Maureen and Seán, she will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons and daughters, Eamonn, Therese, Josephine, Maureen and Patrick, Therese’s husband Paul, Eamonn’s partner Linda, grandchildren Liam, Eoin and Lauren, the extended Clarke, McGinley and McArdle families, her neighbours and friends.

Her remains are reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk, A91 KW52, (entrance on Castletown Road) on Easter Sunday, from 3pm to 7pm.

Removal on Easter Monday at 10.20am, proceeding via her home to St Brigid's Church, Kilcurry, A91 RP73, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen Gibson, Lifford and Ballindrait

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Kathleen Gibson, née Tinney, Ballyduff Road, Lifford, and formerly of Ballindrait.

Lovingly missed by her daughters and sons Martina (Hugh Callaghan), Margaret (Paul Tourish), Seamus (Elizabeth), Majella (Martin Kelly), Donal (Teresa), Ursula (Andrew), her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters Billy Tinney, Michael Tinney, Martha McKelvey, Margaret Canning, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and all her extended family and friends. Kathleen was predeceased by her parents James and Martha Tinney, husband Danny, daughters Mary and Patricia, sister Sadie Sweeney and brother Andrew Tinney.

Reposal of Kathleen's remains continues at her son Donal Gibson’s residence, Carrickbrack, Convoy, F93 WT18 on Sunday from 11am to 10pm with rosary at 9pm.

Funeral from her son’s residence, Carrickbrack, Convoy on Monday at 11.40 am, travelling via Raphoe and Ballindrait to St Patrick’s Church Murlog for 12.30pm Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in St Baithin’s Church, Cemetery, St Johnston. Funeral Mass can be viewed on https://clonleighparish.com/webcam-watch-live/.

Christy Doherty, Clonmany

The peaceful death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Christy Doherty, Giblin, Clonmany, F93V3H0.

Beloved husband of Maura and much-loved father of Fiona, Diarmuid, Fergal, Declan, Ronan and Rory; deeply regretted by his son-in-law, daughters-in-law and grandchildren Shaun, Ruth, Kerry, Beibhinn, Oisín, Oran, Laoise, Keelin, Aiden, Iarla, Fiach and Siúin and his sisters Anna Rita, Maria and Geraldine, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law, he is predeceased by his parents Michael and Annie, sisters Gretchen, Rena and brothers Anthony, Denis and Colm. Christy is sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and the wider family circle.

Christy’s remains are reposing at the family home where all are welcome to pay respects. House private between 10 pm and 11am and on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral from there on Monday at 11am going, to St Mary’s Church Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11.30am, with internment afterwards in the new cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/clonmany

Mai McGinley, Inver and Ballybofey

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Mai McGinley, née Long, Meenawullaghan, Inver and formerly Meencarrigach, Ballybofey.

Beloved wife of the late Michael, dearly loved daughter of the late Joe and Susan Long, cherished sister of Anne (Paddy) Patricia (Patsy) Elizabeth (Stephen) Carmel (late Sean) also the late Susie (Benny) Maggie, (Mick) Joe (Christeen) and John; deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her sisters, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposal of her remains continues at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Patsy Gallagher, Monellan, Crossroads, Killygordon, F93CR2W on Sunday from 2pm to 9pm. Parking available at Red Hughs football pitch. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving from there on Monday at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon. Interment will take place in Cranny Road Cemetery, Frosses arriving at 1.15pm. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live on https://youtube.com/@killygordonparish.

Danny Fullerton, Buncrana

The death has occurred of Danny Fullerton (Nipper), Hilltown, Buncrana.

Danny is predeceased by his parents Johnny and Mary, his granddaughter Alice, his brothers Eddie, Patsy, Johnny, James, his sisters Roseann, Josie, Kathleen, Sally.

Danny will be sadly missed by his wife Anne his loving family Leanne (Henry), Jonathan (Aine), Maria (Ryan), his cherished grandchildren Harrison, Dreyda, John, Finn, Annie, Una, Oran, his siblings Willie, Mickey, Alec, Charlie, Winnie, Susan, Eileen, his brothers in law, sisters in law nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the wider family circle.

Danny’s remains are reposing at his home, where all are welcome to pay respects. Family time from 11pm until 12 noon and on the morning of the funeral. 

Funeral on Monday, leaving at 10am, going to St Mary’s Church Cockhill for 11am Requiem Mass, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/cockhill 

Sarah Doherty, Clonmany

The death has taken place at her home of Sarah Doherty, Cleagh, Clonmany.

Dear mother of James and Daniel. Devoted grandmother, loving sister of Hannah, Tony and Roseanne. Sarah will be sadly missed by her family and friends, and all who knew her.

Burial took place on Saturday. 

A Requiem Mass for Sarah will take place in Clonmany on Monday at 9.30 am. Funeral can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/clonmany

Kathleen Kirkland, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has taken place at Carndonagh Community Hospital of Kathleen Kirkland, Ballyloskey, Carndonagh.

Much-loved mother of Jacqueline, Annemarie, Donald, Tracy and Adelle. Predeceased by her brother James Anthony McLaughlin.

Deeply regretted by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Kathleen’s remains are reposing at her home, Ballyloskey, Carndonagh, F93NP80, where all are welcome to pay their respects.

Funeral liturgy took place at the Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh on Thursday, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Funeral Mass will take place for Kathleen at 11 am on Monday at the Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh, and can be viewed on the parish webcam.
