Death notices for Donegal on Thursday evening

The following deaths have taken place:

- Jacqueline Devenney, St Johnston

- Alice McDaid, Newtowncunningham

Jacqueline Devenney, St Johnston

The death has taken place at Galway University Hospital of Jacqueline (Jack) Devenney, née Duddy, Railway Road, St Johnston and formerly of Main Street, St Johnston.

Beloved wife of Michael, much loved mother of Evin, Aaron (Niomh) and Ciara, loving daughter of the late Rose and Billy and sister of Kathleen, Frankie, Marie, Ann, Sharon, Sally, Cathal and Georgina.

Her remains are reposing at her home on Thursday from 12noon. Family time please from 10pm to 11am.

Funeral leaving her home on Saturday at 1.15pm for Requiem Mass in St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston at 2pm, followed by burian in the adjoining cemetery.

Alice McDaid, Newtowncunningham

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Alice McDaid, née Breen, Killyverry, Newtowncunningham, F93 PNR1.

Deeply missed by her loving son Raymond (Majella), Knockbrack, Letterkenny and daughter Lisa Tully (Vincent) Sharon Glebe, Newtowncunningham, grandchildren Emma, Victoria, Ryan and Rachael, great-grandchildren Noah, Jonah and Jude, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Alice is predeceased by her husband Raymond and her brothers and sisters.

Alice’s remains are reposing at her late residen on Thursday from 2pm and on Friday from 12 noon. Family time both nights after the Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.30am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
