Eileen Stevenson, Milford

The peaceful death has taken place at St Eunan’s Nursing Home, Woodlands, Letterkenny of Eileen Stevenson, Ballygay, Milford.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters June and Lorna, son-in-law David, granddaughters Katy, Suzanne and Julie, sister Isobel, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Matt.

Reposing at the residence of her daughter June and David Love, Ballylin, Ramelton, F92 A7P0. House private. Family, friends and neighbours welcomeon Wednesday November 6 from 3pm until 9pm. House private on the morning of the funeral.

Private burial on Thursday morning, November 7. There will be a Service of Thanksgiving in Milford Presbyterian Church at 1pm on Thursday November 7. Everyone welcome.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St Eunan’s Nursing Home Patients’ Comfort Fund, c/o any family member.

Brian Gurney, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has take place at Carndonagh Community Hospital of Brian Gurney, 21 Ard Clochar, Carndonagh.

Deeply regretted by his passing is his loving wife Mary. Sadly missed by his son Liam and daughters Donna and Sandra.

Dear brother of (predeceased) Pat, Willie-John, Bobby, Hugh, Daniel, Mary and Maggie Ann, sorely missed by sister Philomena.

Loving grandfather of Ryan, Claudia, Leona, Caolan, Jake and Tyler and great-grandfather of Michaela, Tegan, Reece, Layla, Jordie and Kayden.

Deeply regretted by his extended family, friends and neighbours. Brian's remains are reposing at his home in Ard Clochar where all are welcome to pay their respects. F93K091.

Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10:30am going to Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for 11:00am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The funeral mass can be viewed live here.

Marie Laverty, Killygordon

The sudden death has occured at Letterkenny University Hospital,of Marie Laverty, nee Callaghan, Monellan, Crossroads, Killygordon. F93 WND2.

Beloved wife of Daniel, much loved mother of Barry, cherished sister of Helen, PJ and Charlie, mother in law of Cheryl, devoted grandmother to Cody, Jamie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband, son, brothers, sister, daughter in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at the family home on Tuesday, November 5 from 11am. Funeral leaving from her home on Thursday, November 7 at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon. Interment in the adjoining churchyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed live here.

Hugh McGeady,  Letterkenny

The sudden death has taken place at his home of Hugh McGeady, Loughnagin Heights, Letterkenny, F92 PW21.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Carmel, sons Rogan and his partner Eli and Ryan and his wife Anne, sister Bernadette and husband Cathal and their sons Lorcan and Cian (Gweedore), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and extended family, friends and neighbours Letterkenny, Gweedore and Glasgow.

Hugh is predeceased by his parents Teresa ‘Tim’ and Jimmy (Ard na gCeapairi, Derrybeg).

Hugh’s remains will repose at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny F92 XE35 on Monday, November 4 from 5pm until 7pm followed by removal to his late residence.

House private to family and close friends only please.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, November 6 at 10.30am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine for 11am Requiem Mass, which can be viewed live here, followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Paramedic Section at Letterkenny Ambulance Station c/o any family member.

Kathleen Gallagher, Glenties and Mayo

The peaceful death has occurred of Kathleen Gallagher (née Peyton), Tullynaglaggin and Main Street, Glenties, Co. Donegal and formerly Attymass, Co Mayo at Letterkenny Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving husband Peter in 2016.

Much loved mother of Maureen (John), Geraldine (Tom), Peter(Margaret), Josephine (Owen) Elaine (Danny), FIdelma (Jimmy).

A devoted grandmother to her grandchildren Josephine, Declan,Tommy, Kevin, Fidelma, Pete, Michelle, John, Stephen, Sinead,Aoife, Fionnuala, Eoghan and Sarah and great grandchildren Róisín, Kyle, Jack, Nathan, Sarah-Jane, Cullen, Peter, Faye, Torbjørn and Elenor.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by sisters Bridget Hollandand Geraldine Campeau, Canada, her nieces, nephews and wider family circle and dear friends.

Kathleen’s remains will repose at her late residence on Monday, November 4 from 11am until 10pm and on Tuesday from 11am until 10pm. Rosary both nights at 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Grace McHugh, Falcarragh

The death has occurred in Glasgow of Grace McHugh, formerly Derryreel, Falcarragh.

Predeceased by her parents Anna May and Frank and sister Mary Campbell, she is sadly missed by her partner Roger Jamieson, nephew Colin Campbell and the Boyle Family Falcarragh.

Her remains will repose at 14 Cnoc na Gaoithe, Dunfanaghy F92 RNDY on Tuesday from 7.30pm until 11pm. House private after 11pm and on the morning of the funeral.
