Joan Considine, Dublin and Malin Head

The death has taken place unexpectedly in St Vincent's Hospital  surrounded by her loving family, of Joan Considine, née McGinty, Dublin and Malin Head.

Predeceased by her husband Con, parents Joseph and Jane and brother Raymond. Joan will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Rachel, her cherished granddaughter Ella, sisters Margaret (Refoy), Carmel (Newton), Anne (Druhan), brothers John, Michael (Ted), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

House private.

Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion, County Dublin arriving at 9.50am for a 10am funeral Mass followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.

Mary Mansfield, Dublin and Falcarragh

The death has taken place peacefully in the Hermitage Clinic of Mary Mansfield, née Doogan, Palmerstown, Dublin and Ballyness, Falcarragh.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard (Ben) and dear mother of Michael, Marie, Eilish, Áine and Ben Junior. Devoted grandmother to Conor (Lindsey), Keane (Elizabeth), Gavin, Darcy, Eoin, Neil, Harry, Zach, Emily, Mariamna and Killian. Great-grandmother to Cecily and Amelia. Predeceased by her siblings Annie, Una, Joe and Manus. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Corla, sons-in-law Shane, Eugene and Robert, brothers Séamus and Neil, sister and best friend Sheila, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours.

Her remains are reposing at her home on Thursday from 3pm to 8pmh. House private outside these hours please.

Removal on Friday morning to St Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Stewarts Care, Palmerstown.

John Mc Geary, Armagh, Cavan,Monaghan and Donegal

The death has taken place peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, John (Big Jonny) Mc Geary, Collegelands, Co Armagh and formerly of Cavan,Monaghan and Donegal.

Beloved husband of Mary, father to John, Siobhan, Kevin, Macarten, Nuala and Sara, brother to Patsy (Dundalk), Mary Rooney (Coventry), Leo and Briege Mc Quaid (Dungannon) and the late Tommy and Kathleen Morrison.

John's remains will repose at his late home on Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm until 9pm.

Removal on Friday at 10.15am to St Peters Church, Collegelands for 11.00am requiem Mass, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Marie Curie c/o donation box at home.

Daniel Mackay, Letterkenny

The death has occurred in the Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, of Daniel Mackay, Loughnagin, Letterkenny, F92 WFC3, and formerly Australia.

Devoted husband of Ann-Marie Boyle Mackay, loving father to Otis and Sadhbh, sadly missed by his family and friends in Australia and Ireland.

His remains are reposing at his late residence from 4 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, where you are most welcome to attend, also reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, F92 XE35 on Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm where you are also invited to attend a celebration of Daniel’s life which can be viewed on the link https://shorturl.at/40Uca followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family time at all other times please.

Gabriel Mc Carron, Killygordon and Fermanagh

The death has occured, of Gabriel Mc Carron, 42 Dromore Park, Crossroads, Killygordon, F93 CD96, and formerly Kinawley, County Fermanagh.

Predeceased by his brother Gerard and sister Anne. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his father Bernard, mother Mary Ellen, wife Jacinta, sons Kyle and Ben, daughter Lucia, brothers, Jude, and Aidan, sister Nuala, mother-in-law Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at his late residence on Wednesday from 7pm to 10 pm. Family time on the morning of the Funeral please.

Funeral leaving from there on Thursday at 10.30 am, for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon, at 11 am, with Private cremation later in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live on https://youtube.com/@killygordonparish

Susan Whoriskey, Gortahork

The peaceful death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Susan Whoriskey, Baltoney, Gortahork F92 AX80 surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her daughter Maryann, her parents Grace and Dominic, her brothers Hudie, Dónal and Paddy. Survived by her husband Neilly, daughter Kathleen and husband Seamus, sons Dominic and his wife Sharon, Donald and his wife Portia and Micheal and his partner Anne, her son-in-law Stephen, grandchildren David, Matthew, Adam, Stephaine and Niamh, brothers Dominic and Joe, in-laws, nieces, nephew and a wide circle of family and friends.

Wake from Tuesday at 12noon with Rosary both nights at 8pm house private after Rosary till 12 noon and on the morning of the funeral.

Michael Kelly, Letterkenny and Westmeath

The peaceful death has taken place at his home surrounded by his loving family, of Michael Kelly, Ballindurrow, Multyfarnham, County Westmeath and formerly of Lower Main Street, Letterkenny.  

Predeceased by his brothers Frank, John and Liam and his sister Betty. Michael will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila, sons Ciarán and Seán, daughters-in-law Audrey and Maeve, grandsons Luke and Joseph, brother Phonsie and his wife Margaret, sister Mary Kate, extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his home (N91 V189) on Tuesday from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Michael’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12 noon in St Nicholas’ Church, Multyfarnham followed by burial in the adjoining St Andrew’s Cemetery.

No flowers please; donations in lieu, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.

Martin Gallagher, Bundoran, Leitrim and Sligo

The sudden death has taken place of Martin Gallagher, Bundoran and formerly of Kinlough, County Leitrim and Carrowreagh Cooper, Tubbercurry, County Sligo.

Martin will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family, his adoring parents Hubert and Nancy, his heartbroken siblings Mary (Turner), Wexford Town, Ann (Denny), Wexford Town, Gabrielle, (Corofin, County Galway), John (Dromahair, County Leitrim), Kevin (Ransboro, Sligo) and Paschal, (Carraroe, Sligo), his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his many relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at the residence of his brother Kevin, Ransboro, County Sligo, F91Y227 on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm, all welcome. Please park at Ransboro Church carpark and follow signs to house. The house is private at all other times. All other family homes strictly private please. 

Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 11am in St Patrick's Church, Moylough, Tubbercurry, County Sligo, F91XW22, with removal afterwards via Bundoran to arrive at St Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough for burial service at approximately 2.15pm.

Alice Doogan, Kinccasslagh

The peaceful death has taken place in Hillcrest House Letterkenny of Alice Doogan formerly Belcruit and Gortnasade, Kincasslagh, F94D6C1.

Reposal of her remains continues in McGlynns Funeral Home, Dungloe on Tuesday in the family home in Gortnasade (F94D6C1) from 11am until Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Kincasslagh with Interment in Belcruit Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on https://www.facebook.com/kincasslagh

Joe McGroarty, Letterkenny

The death has occurred in the Letterkenny University Hospital of Joe Mc Groarty, 3 Croagh Patrick Avenue, Letterkenny.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons Jonnie (Martina), Mickie (Linda), Gerry (Michelle), Marty and daughters Caroline (Noel), Tina (Jonny) and Mariosa (Sean), 15 Grandchildren, brother Seamus, sisters Mausheen, Mina and Peggy. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, brothers Michael and Noel and sisters Eileen, Kathleen and Rosie.

Reposal of his remain continues at his late residence from 12noon to Rosary at 9pm on Tuesday. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St Eunans Cathedral, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery. Mass can be viewed at www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny

Barry Breslin, Kilcar 

The tragic death has occurred of Barry Breslin following an accident in Perth, Australia.

Beloved father to his son Tommy. Sadly missed by his loving fiancée, Melissa, his parents Mary and Seamus, his brothers Owen (Beth and Hazel) and Shane (Gerard).

House private until further notice. Funeral arrangements not yet announced.
