Ann Hinchey Kennedy, Dundalk and Lifford
The death has occurred of Ann (Annie) Hinchey Kennedy (née French), Crescent 2, Muirhevnamor, Dundalk, Louth and Lifford, Donegal.
Formerly of Scotland and Porthall, Lifford. She passed away peacefully, in the dedicated care of Silverstream Nursing Home, Dundalk and her daughter Christine.
Predeceased by her husband John Hinchey, sons Padraig (Glasgow) and Míceal, parents Tom and Mary, brothers Patsy, Jim and Tom and sisters Peggy and Lizzie.
She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters Marian (O’Connor), Irene (Love), Christine (Hinchey), son Tomás (Hinchey), sons-in-law Michael O’Connor and Andy Love, daughters-in-law Maryrose and Sheuli, grandchildren Barry, Donna, Anthony, James, Louise, Gerard, Darren, Sophie, Anthea, John, Christopher and Niall, great-grandchildren, brother Alec (French), sisters Bernie, Myra and Pam, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law John, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Reposing in the Serenity Room of Quinn's Funeral Homes, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52, entrance on Castletown Road) on Wednesday, September 25th from 3pm-8pm. Funeral Ceremony and Liturgy on Thursday, September 26 in the adjoining Eternity Room at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation.
John (Sean) Kennedy, Ballyshannon and Leitrim
The death has taken place John (Sean) Kennedy, Coolcholly, Donegal Road, Ballyshannon and formally of Rantogue, Aghacashel, Co Leitrim. Retired member of An Garda Siochana.
He passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Northwest Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents James and Brigid. John will be sadly missed by his wife Peggy, Children John (Ita), Orla (Matthew), Anne (Noel), Paul (Thomas) and Mary (Colm), grandchildren, Bronagh, Conal, Aoife, Aine, Orlaith, Brigid and Darragh, sister-in-law Kitty, brothers-in-law Maute and Frank, and all his relatives and friends.
Reposing at McGee's Funeral home, Belleek Road, Ballyshannon on Thursday, September 26 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Removal on Friday morning from his late residence at 10.30am to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with service of Interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery. House private please.

Kathleen Sharkey, Derry and Newtowncunningham
The death has occurred of Kathleen Sharkey (née Doherty), Derry city and Newtowncunningham.
She passed away peacefully at Seymour Gardens Residential Home. Beloved wife of Brian, loving mother of Caitriona, Mary-Jo and Nuala, devoted grandmother of Senan, Conal, Aidan, Libby, Millie, Otis and Arlo, dear mother-in-law to Ronan, Gavin and Dan, and a dear and loving sister of Brendan, Dolores, Geraldine and the late George, Billy and Ann. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle.
Kathleen will be reposing at her home, 23 Aberfoyle Crescent, Derry on Wednesday, September 25 from 2pm until 9pm.
Funeral leaving there on Thursday at 9.20am to St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Owen Doherty, Derrybeg
The death has taken place at Áras Gaoth Dobhair of Owen Doherty (Owenie Charley Khit), Carrick McGarvey, Derrybeg, originally from Knockastolar.
His remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home, Derrybeg, (F92 DN4X) on Tuesday September 24 from 4pm to 8pm.
Removal from there after the Rosary to his family home, with wake from 11am until rosary at 8pm tomorrow, Wednesday September 25.
Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, September 26, at 1pm in St Mary’s Church, Derrybeg with interment afterwards in Maghergallon cemetery.

Anne Buggy, Ballyshannon and Galway
The death has occurred of Anne Buggy (née Lydon), The Abbey, Ballyshannon, Donegal, F94K735 and formerly of Moycullen, Co Galway.
Anne passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 22 in Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of PJ and mother to Grainne (Ian), Donal (Mairead), Sinead (Adrian), Aisling (Paul), Pauric (Aine), Ciara (Brian), and Aoife (Andrea). She will be forever missed by her grandchildren Christopher, Anna, Matthew, Max, Lucy, Jack, Zoe, Noah, Olivia, Theo, Alex, and Amalia.
She will be sadly missed by her siblings, Padraic, Michael, Katherine, Bridie, Nora, Eileen, and Bernie, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues. We lovingly remember her brothers Sean and Seamus, her sister Mary and her son-in-law, Kyle.
Reposing at her late residence on Wednesday from 1pm to 8pm. House private to family outside of the reposing times. Funeral to arrive at St. Patricks Church, Ballyshannon on Thursday for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o'clock with service of Interment in the Abbey Assaroe cemetery.

Brian Gillespie, Derry and Buncrana
The peaceful death has occurred on September 23, at the Foyle Hospice, Derry of Brian Gillespie, late of 6 Donal Casey Court, Derry and formerly of Oakfield, Galliagh and Buncrana.
Beloved son of the late Eva and Tom, loving brother of Mary and the late Colm and Pauline and a cherished uncle to all his nieces, nephews and grandnieces.
Dearly loved and will be sadly missed in Derry and Buncrana by his large circle of friends who looked out for him, as he did for them.
Brian will be reposing at Bradley and McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, on Tuesday, September 24 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm and from 6pm to 8pm.

The death has taken place in Queens New York, USA of Bridie Mc Menamin, formerly Corraine, Ballybofey, in her 94th year.
Beloved daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret McMenamin, cherished sister of Rose Morrissey, Castlepollard, and the late Cassie, Josephine, Frances, Dan, Willie, Agnes, Packie, Madeline, Frankie, Mick, and Tom.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sister, sister-in-law Mary, her many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey Tuesday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 25 from 5pm with rosary at 9pm.

Removal on Wednesday, September 25 at 10.20am to St James’ Church, Grange (Eircode A91 V5XT), arriving for funeral Mass at 11am.

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Joe Hannigan, 608 Killea, Carrigans, F93 D3K2.
Joe will be lovingly missed by his wife Betty, sons and daughters Rhona, Shane (Aisling), Ricky (Fiona), Steve, Julie (Charlie), grandchildren Davin, Darcy, Rowan, Tiana, Cody, Alana, Erin, Luke, Martin and Cian, his sisters Dolores, Geraldine, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his family and friends.

The death has occurred in The Mater Hospital of Sheila O'Donnell (née Gallagher), Finglas, Dublin and formerly of Tully, Dungloe.
Sadly missed by her husband Owen, sons Paul and Turlough and daughter Aisling, daughter-in-law Andrea and her beloved grandchildren Grace, Katie & Carla, her brother Willie, sisters Winnie, Breige, Róise, Margaret and Ann.
Predeceased by her parents Johnny William and Bridget Gallagher, sisters Maire and Nellie and brothers Danny, Jamesie, Dinny and John.

The death has occurred of Teresa Mulkern, nee McNelis, New York and formerly of Ballard, Glencolmcille,Co Donegal in New York on Tuesday, September 17,2024. Predeceased by her husband Patrick (2011).
She will be sadly missed by Kevin, Rita (Maurice, Co Limerick) Patrick (Sinead, Co Donegal), Brian and Geraldine (Ciarán, NY). As well as her adoring grandchildren; Ciara, Áine, Sean, Aidan, Dylan, Cian, Caitlin, Ellen and her loving sister Rita McGinley, Malinbeg.
Arriving at Shannon Airport on Tuesday morning, September 24 travelling to St Columba's Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille, Co Donegal to arrive for 7pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
