Michael Gallagher, Crossroads

The death has occurred at his late residence, of Michael Gallagher, Drumcannon, Crossroads, Killygordon, F93 TN30.

Beloved husband of Bernadette, much loved father of Michael (Louise), Seamus (Melissa), Paul (Siana), Colette (Aaron),dearly loved grandfather to Jessica,Jordan, Darcy, Luke, Ollie, Ben, and Clara, cherished brother of Philip. Patsy, Charlie, George, Joe, Paul, Ann, and the late John, Mary and infant Peggy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sister, brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

His remains reposing at his late residence on Wednesday from 12 noon. Family time from 10pm to 11 am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving from his home on Friday at 1.20am for 2pm Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon. Interment will take place in the adjoining churchyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed live on youtube.com/@killygordonparish

Janusz Kuc, Ballybofey and Tarnów, Poland

Z przykrością informujemy, że w dniu 2 września 2024 roku w wieku 41 lat zmarł Janusz Kuc, 273 Ard Mc Carron, Ballybofey.

Ceremonia pożegnalna odbędzie się 5 września 2024 r. w godzinach od 19 do 21 w Domu Pogrzebowym Mc Cool's Ballybofey.

Msza św. odbędzie się 6 września 2024 r. o godz. 10 w kościele Najświętszej Marii Panny w Stranorlar, po czym zostanie odprowadzony na cmentarz Drumboe w Stranorlar.Msza żałobna będzie transmitowana na żywo za pośrednictwem kamery internetowej parafii Stranorlar o godz. https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny, surrounded by his loving family, of Janusz Kuc, aged 41, of 273 Ard Mc Carron, Ballybofey, and formerly Tarnów.

Beloved husband of Sylwia, much loved father of Sabina, Jakub, Lilianna, Joanna, Janina, and Agnieszka, cherished brother of Jacek and Agata. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife, son, daughters, brother, sister, nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

His remains will repose at Mc Cool’s Chapel Of Rest, Ballybofey on Thursday from 7pm until 9pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Friday at 9.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 10am. Interment will take place in Drumboe cemetery afterwards. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live via the Parish Webcam at https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar

Mary Connaghan, Trentagh

The death has occurred in Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family of Mary Connaghan (Nee Gallagher) formally of Ballybolother, Trentagh.

Predeceased by her husband Hughie, parents Mamie and Harry, her sister Kathleen Flanagan and grand-daughter Shauna Connaghan; beloved mother of Bridie Murray (Eamonn), Kate McGinley (Eugene), John Connaghan (Trés), Marie Mc Daid (Dan), Hugo Connaghan (Fiona) and Kevin Connaghan; deeply regretted by her brother Danny Gallagher, sisters-in-law Mary and Catherine Doohan; forever loved by her 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, wider circle of neighbours and friends.

Mary's remains will be reposing at her daughter Marie and Dan McDaid's home in Doon, Glebe, Newmills, from Thursday from 10am to 10pm with Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday in St Columba's Church, Glenswilly, at 11am with interment afterwards in the family plot in Gartan Cemetery. Funeral can be viewed live here.

Kevin Breslin, Buncrana

The death has taken place at his residence Glendalough House, Gransha Road, Buncrana of Kevin Breslin.

Beloved husband of Marie and dear father of Gary, Steve, Rebecca and Brian. Son of Mary and the late Kevin. Loving brother of Joanne, Marie, Patrick Lorna and the late Derek RIP and grandfather of Brooke. Kevin will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, sisters, brother, grand daughter, nieces and nephews, family circle and friends.

Kevin's remains are reposing at his residence. House private on Tuesday to family, friends and close neighbours.

Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.25am going to St Mary's Church, Cockhill for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Requiem mass can be viewed online at churchservices.tv/cockhill

Susan Kierce Marsh, Newtowncunningham

The death has occurred of Susan Kierce Marsh, Banner House, Gortree, Newtowncunningham F93 AK09. Susan passed away peacefully in the presence of her husband Adrian, her sons Caoimhín, Seán and Daithí.

Sadly missed by her family and friends, Susan was predeceased by her father Oliver, brother Jason and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Tommy and Noreen. 

Susan's remains will be reposing at her late residence from 4pm to 10pm on Tuesday, and on Wednesday from 12noon to 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Mary Ellen Gillespie, Milford

The death has taken place peacefully in Áras Uí Dhomhnaill Nursing Home, Milford, of Mary Ellen Gillespie, née Birney, 230 Lower Mount Marian, Milford, F92 A2T7.

Predeceased by her brother Hugh, she is sadly missed by her loving family, husband Eamon, sons Seamus, Gary (Fiona) and Noel, daughter Pauline, grandchildren Ryisa, Tristan, Emma, Claire and Tara, great-grandchildren Taylor, Brooks and Fíadh, brothers John and Charlie, sister Gráinne, sisters-in-law Hannah Birney, Kathleen Birney and Kathleen Mc Daid, brothers-in-law Vincent Brown and Charlie Gillespie, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Her remains are reposing at her home from 5pm until 10pm on Tuesday and from 11am until 10pm on Wednesday. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Stella Quinn, Glenties 

The death has occurred at The Donegal Hospice of Stella Quinn, Mullantyboyle, Glenties.

Predeceased by her loving son Kevin, she is sadly missed and forever loved by her daughter Amanda and son-in-law Noel, siblings Yvonne (Eamonn),Enda (Angela), Hugh (Kate), Alec (Kathleen), Bernie, Angela (Christy), Caroline (Gerald), Irene (Colin), nieces, nephew, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposal of Stella’s remains continues at her late residence on Tuesday from 10am until 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Patricia McBrearty, St Johnston

The sudden death has occurred of Patricia McBrearty Church St, St Johnston.

Wife of the late Paddy and loving mother of Brian (Majella), Tina (Ciaran) and Susie (Geoff), adoring grandmother of Cara, Hannah, PJ and Eimear, sister of Anne Strain (Burnfoot) and late Elizabeth Kavanagh (Fahan) and much loved larger circle of family and friends.

Funeral Cortege will be leaving Church St, St Johnston at 10.30am on Wednesday morning, going to St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Hubert Reynolds, Greencastle

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Hubert Reynolds, 6 Coastguard Station, Greencastle F93 H6TE

Beloved Husband of Annie and much loved Father of Elaine (Jay), Mark (Breedge) and Patricia (Hubert), a devoted grandfather to all his grandchildren, Beth, Harvey, Ethan, Makayla, Molly, Alex, Ryan and Corey. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his Nieces and Nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Hubert's remains are reposing at his home where you are all welcome to pay your respects. Family time from 10pm to 11am.

Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.30am for 11pm Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Ballybrack, followed by Interment in the Ballybrack graveyard.

Olive Cassidy, Waterford and Bundoran

The death has taken place of Olive Cassidy, late of Newtown Mews, Tramore, County Waterford, and formerly of Bundoran. She passed peacefully in Killure Bridge Nursing Home, surrounded by her family

Olive is predeceased by her parents and her brother Dick. She will be sadly missed by her sister Rosemary and her brothers James and John; all her nieces and nephews, her extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Olive's remains will be reposing at Falconer's Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, X91TW21, on Wednesday between 10am and concluding with a blessing at 11.30am before departing at 12 noon sharp for a private Cremation Service.

Mass cards can be posted to Falconers Funeral Directors, Riverstown, Tramore, County Waterford.​
