Mary Connaghan, Trentagh

The death has occurred in Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family of Mary Connaghan (Nee Gallagher) formally of Ballybolother, Trentagh.

Pre-deceased by her husband Hughie, parents Mamie and Harry, her sister Kathleen Flanagan and grand-daughter Shauna Connaghan. Beloved mother of Bridie Murray (Eamonn), Kate McGinley (Eugene), John Connaghan (Trés), Marie Mc Daid (Dan), Hugo Connaghan (Fiona) and Kevin Connaghan. Deeply regretted by her brother Danny Gallagher, sisters in law Mary and Catherine Doohan. Forever loved by her 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, wider circle of neighbours and friends.

Mary's remains will be reposing at her daughter Marie and Dan McDaid's home in Doon, Glebe, Newmills, from Thursday, September 5 from 10am -to10pm. Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral mass on Friday, September 6 in St Columba's Church, Glenswilly, at 11am with interment afterwards in the family plot in Gartan Cemetery. Funeral can be viewed live here.

Family time only please on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only please.

Edward Ferry, Rathmullan

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Edward (Eddie) Ferry, Oughterlin, Rathmullan, F92 V978.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons James, Eamonn, John and Martin, daughters-in-law Pamela, Pauline and Eileen, grandchildren, sister Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, brother John, sisters Margaret and Hannah. Reposing at his home on Saturday, August 31 from 7pm. House private on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem mass on Monday September 2nd at 11am in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan. Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery.

Mary Logue, Kilmacrennan

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Mary Logue, 5 Chapel View, Kilmacrennan.

Predeceased by her mother Susan. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Matthew and Patrick, daughter Shauna, father Michael, sisters Brigid (Marcus) and Michelle (Liam),
brothers JP (Kelly) and James, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the residence of her father Michael Logue, Skreen, Kilmacrennan. House private please.

Requiem mass on Monday, September 2 at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan, followed by burial in Kilmacrennan Cemetery.

Brid McLaughlin, Dunfanaghy

The death has occurred of Brid McLaughlin (née Coyle), Derryherriff, Dunfanaghy, Donegal, F92E1W9.
Beloved wife of John, much-loved mother to John (Vienna) and Rosaleen (Patrick). Devoted granny to Jack and Patrick. Deeply regretted by her sisters Gracie and Sheila.
Predeceased by her parents Nellie and Den John and sister Annie. Brid's remains will repose at the family home on Saturday, August 31 from 1pm with rosary both nights at 9.00pm. Funeral arrangements later.

Marie Cronly, Mullaghduff and Cork

The death has taken place in University Hospital Cork of Marie Cronly nee McGeever of Douglas, Cork and formerly of Mullaghduff, Co. Donegal.
She passed away peacefully on August 29. Missed dearly by her loving husband Pat, son Robert and daughter Claudia. Sadly missed by her mother Kathleen, sisters Karen and Claire, brother Joseph and all her family and friends.
Her remains will repose in McGlynn's Funeral Home Dungloe (F94ND68) on Saturday 31st from 4pm until Rosary at 8pm and on Sunday from 11am until removal at 12 30 to St Mary's Star of the Sea Church Annagry for funeral Mass at 1pm followed by interment in the New Cemetery.

Michael McAndrews, Pettigo

The death has occurred of Michael McAndrews, Drumharriff, Pettigo, Co.Donegal. Michael died peacefully on August 29 in St Phelim's Nursing Home, Drumahair surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents, sisters Kathleen and Mary, brothers John, Paddy and daughter-in-law Julie. Deeply missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons Michael, Dermot (Helene), daughter Linda (Eamonn) and heartbroken grandchildren Luke, Jack, Eimear, Aoife, Aoibhinn and India. Remembered fondly by his brothers Collie and Frank, sister Bridie and his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Reposing in St Mary's Church, Pettigo from 5pm to 7pm on Sunday evening. Family home private please. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed live here.

Patrick Mc Ginley, Milford

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Patrick McGinley, 6 Ardglass, Kilmacrennan Road, Milford, F92 K248.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons Michael and Ennis, daughter Nellie, daughters-in-law Donna and Noelle, son-in-law Barry, grandson Danny, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Ackey, sister Bríd, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his wife Margaret, sons Danny, Pat and Alec, daughter Margaret and grandson Connor. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Pat McDaid, Manorcunningham

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Thursday, August 29 of Pat McDaid, 24 Abbey Park, Manorcunningham F92 KP92.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Lorraine, sisters Annemarie and Maureen, brothers Hugh, William and Barry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Pat is predeceased by his parents Mary and Pat, brothers Sean, Christopher and Michael and his sister Audrey.

Pat’s remains will repose at his late residence on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 from 2pm until 10pm.

Funeral from there on Monday, September 2 at 10.15am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live here followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Intensive Care Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member.

Roy Davison, Glengad

The peaceful death has taken place at Carndonagh Community Hospital of Roy Davison, Glentoskert, Glengad F93 W8X8. Predeceased by his daughter Melissa. Beloved husband of Liz and much-loved father of Amanda, Andrew and Kelli. A devoted grandfather to all his grandchildren, Roy, Annie, Thomas, Lee, Jack, Andrew and Laura. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Arlene, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Roy's remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin's Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh, F93 E4FN on Friday, August 30 at 4pm going to his home. Funeral from there on Sunday, September 1 at 2.15pm for 3pm Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, Lagg, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Ard Aoibhinn, Carndonagh Community Hospital C/O and family member or Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director.

Packie Doherty, Culdaff

The peaceful death has taken place at The Donegal Hospice of Packie Doherty (Packie in Eugenes), Leiter, Culdaff.

Beloved brother of Kathleen Boyle, Quigley's Point. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Packie’s remains will repose at the home of his sister, Kathleen Boyle, Quigleys Point, F93 C9X5,  from 7pm on Thursday, August 29. Family time from 11pm to 11am.

Funeral from there on Sunday, September 1 at 9.30am for 10.30pm funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Aughaclay, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to The Donegal Hospice C/O family member or Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director.
