The following deaths have taken place:

Martha Hutchinson, Dunkineely
Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert. Dearly loved mother of Sandra (Michael), Helen (Gregory), Mervyn (Caroline), Lynda (James), Alan (Marie), Karen (Albert), Samantha (Paul), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Her remains will repose at her late residence tomorrow, Saturday, 3rd August, from 4pm until 9pm. Funeral service on Sunday, August 4, at 1pm in Dunkineely Methodist Church, with burial afterwards in Killaghtee Cemetery, House private on the morning of the funeral, please.

Veronica Gallagher, Donegal Town
The death has occurred of Veronica Gallagher, 11 Farmleigh Park, Ardeskin, formerly of 321 St Josephs Avenue, Donegal Town, and Dibbin.

Loved and dearly missed by her siblings Mary (Sean), Anne (John RIP), Josie, Patricia (Michael), Carmel (John) and Tony (Martina), nieces and nephews and all extended family.

Reposing at her late residence on Saturday, August 3 for family and close friends.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, August 4 at 11.30am in St Patrick's Church, Donegal Town, with burial afterwards in Glenties cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral, please.

Donations in lieu if so desired to the Oncology Unit, Sligo University Hospital.

Dessie Rowan, Letterkenny and Killybegs
The death has occurred in the loving care of the Donegal Hospice of Dessie Rowan, 42, Tara Court Letterkenny (F92 XHN8) formerly Marine Drive, Killybegs. 

The retired accountant is Predeceased by his parents Pat and Patsy.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Anna Marie, son Chris (Joanne), grandsons Charlie and Cillian, sisters Patricia Dowd, Terry Bruce, Glenda Cunningham (Killybegs), and brother Denis (Killybegs), extended family and many friends.

Reposing at his late residence on Saturday, August 3 from 11am to 9pm concluding with Rosary. 

Funeral from there on Sunday, August 4 to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine (F92 PN81) for 1pm funeral Mass which can be viewed live here. Funeral followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Michael Foy, Cork and Ballybofey
The death has occurred of Michael Foy, Monkstown, Cork and Ballybofey. He passed away peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Bon Secours Hospital. Beloved husband of Anna (née O’Sullivan, Adrigole), loving father of Annette, Hugh, John, Eilish, Niall, Sinead, Laura and Liam and dear brother of Hugh, Sr Ann and the late John Joe, Maura, Tony and Liam.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline on Friday, August 2 from 5pm until 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, August 3 at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church, Monkstown which will be streamed live here. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery, Passage West.

Margaret McGinley, Letterkenny
The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Margaret McGinley, née Doherty (Banker), retired nurse, Magheranan, Letterkenny F92 REP2, formerly of Oughterlin, Rathmullan.

Predeceased by her brother Thomas. Very sadly missed by her family, daughters Yvonne ( Gabriel) Bundoran, Laura Jane (Mark) Garristown, Co Dublin, sons Edward and William (Letterkenny), grandchildren Eloise, Torin, Raiden, Seán, Davin, Oran and Niall. Brothers John, Hugh, Laurence, Philip, William and sister Caroline.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Saturday, August 3 in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine (F92 PN81), which can be viewed online at  followed by burial in Rathmullan Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if wished to the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o Paschal Blake, Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny.

Mary Boyle, Burtonport
The peaceful death has occurred of Mary Boyle nee Murray, the Bungalow, Burtonport. Predeceased by her husband Packin, her brothers James, Padraig, Leo & Cathal and her sister Kathleen Ferry.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters Mary Boyle & Nora Mc Cready (Ennis) Donegal Town, her Grandson Patrick and her sister Margaret Murray.

Funeral mass at 11am on Saturday morning at St Columba’s Church Burtonport with interment in Belcruit Cemetery.  The funeral Mass can be viewed live here. 

Martin Quinn, Buncrana
The sudden death has taken place of Martin Quinn, Meenagorey, Buncrana. Martin’s remains will repose at his late residence. House Private Please from 11pm to 11am.

Funeral from there at 10am on Sunday August 4, going to St Mary’s Church Cockhill for 11am Funeral Mass with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Martin’s funeral Mass can be viewed live here.
