Tommy Flannery, Leitrim and Glenties 

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Flannery,Ballinamore, County Leitrim, and formerly Ardun, Glenties.

Tommy is survived by his son Declan, daughters Mairead, Helen and Michelle and their mother Margaret, sons-in-law, partners,grandchildren, brothers Billy, Denis, Paddy , Tony and sisters Veronica, Mary and very dear friend Dorothy. Predeceased by his parents Bridget and Denis, sisters Ann, Tina and baby Elizabeth and brother Bernard.

Tommy’s remains will repose at Shovlin's Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm, followed by removal to Vincent and Mairead Cranley’s home for family and close friends. House private on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am in St Connell's Church, Glenties followed by cremation at Lakeland’s Crematorium, Cavan at 4pm. Funeral mass can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/glenties

Kathleen Porter, Buncrana

The death has taken in Letterkenny University Hospital of Kathleen Porter, 13 Hillcrest Ardravan, Buncrana, F93 A9K7.

Beloved wife of Francis Porter and dear Mother of Gary, Creina, Brendan and the late Haley, sadly missed by her Grandchildren Katie, Grace and Brodie, son- and daughter-in-law Simon and Stephanie, brother Jimmy. Sheis predeceased by siblinges Francie (Inky) Gerard, Pete and May. 

Her remains are reposing at her residence from 6pm on Thursday. House Private from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.15am going to St Mary’s Oratory for 10am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Cockhill cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/buncrana

Francis Carr, Barnesmore

The death has occurred of Francis Carr, Ardnawark, Barnesmore peacefully in Harbour Lights Nursing home Killybegs.

Francis’s remains will repose in the Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Donegal Town from 1pm on Sunday until 9pm.

Removal from Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Donegal Town on Monday at 10.15am to arrive at St Agatha’s Church Clar for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Paddy Cavanagh, Dublin / Moville

The death has occurred of Paddy Cavanagh, Clondalkin, Dublin and formerly of Moville and Coral Quarries Ltd.

Beloved partner and best friend of Paula, much loved stepdad to Dean and beloved son of Frankie and the late Sally and brother of Adrian Jackie, Mark and Danny. Paddy will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his heartbroken partner, stepson, dad, brothers, both extended Cavanagh and Kavanagh families, colleagues, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Clondalkin Village, D22 K602, on Friday from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon at 12.30pm in Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Rowlagh, D22 VX84, followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium, D24 K1CY arriving at approximately 2pm.

A service to celebrate Paddy’s life will be held in Moville at a later date.

Josephine McCrory, Castlefin

The death has occurred of Josephine (Tulip) McCrory, née Bryson, Skelpy, Castlefin, F93 V1DW.

Beloved wife of the late Denis, much loved mother of Patrick, Mary, Joseph, Paul, Anne, Tony, James, Darren and the late James and Noleen.

Her remains are reposing at the family home. Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Funeral from the family home on Friday at 12.10pm for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm in St. Columba's Church, Doneyloop with interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. The Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam.

Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her entire family circle.

Martin Norris, Derry and Donegal

The death has occurred of Martin Norris Derry City, Derry and formerly of Donegal peacefully, after a short illness courageously borne, at Foyle Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Rose, loving father of Angela, Laura, Conor and the late James Martin, dear father-in-law to Darren, devoted grandfather of Jack, Abigail, Cillian, Pearse and Orlaith, dear and loving brother of Sue and Jim. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Wake will be held in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, Derry on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm.

A celebration of Martin’s life will take place in the City Hotel on Friday at 12 noon followed by lunch. A private cremation will take place later. At Martin’s request, please wear bright colours, just like his beloved garden.

Danny Reynolds, Rossnowlagh

The sudden death has occurred of Danny Reynolds, Cashel, Rossnowlagh, F94 K8P4.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Sarah, his sister Maureen. Deeply regretted by his brother Noel (Mandy), sisters Anne, Teresa (PJ), Geraldine (Ken) and Philomena (Mark), aunt Bridget, cousins and his life long friend and neighbour Vincent, nieces, nephews, and all extended family.

Reposal of his remains continues at his late residence on Thursday from 12pm. There will be a one way system in operation for the wake, entry via Corker Lane and exit via Rossnowlagh.

Removal on Friday morning to St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon, for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery. House Private, please, on the morning of the funeral.

Mary Gillespie, Newtowncunningham

The peaceful death has occurred at her home of Mary Gillespie, née Doherty, Moyle Road, Newtowncunningham F93 PW82.

Lovingly missed by her sons and daughters Patrick (Molly), Hugh (Ann), Siubhan, Paul (Denise), Brian (Annette), Annemarie Moyne (Liam), Catriona Kelly (Enda Friel), Christine Wallace (Joe), Sarah Carlin (Kieran) and Edward (Jackie), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary Doherty, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of extended family, friends and neighbours.

Mary is predeceased by her husband Brian, parents Hugh and Annie Doherty, brothers Francis and James and sister, Josephine Devine.

Reposal of Mary’s remains continues at her late home on Thursday from 11am until 10pm with Rosary at 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral from there on Friday at 10.15am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Margaret Ann Wilkinson, Raphoe

The death has occurred pacefully at her home, of Margaret Ann Wilkinson, née McGinley, Townparks, Convoy Road, Raphoe and formerly of Gortnalake, Creeslough.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Neil Joseph, sons Paul and Niall and daughter Anne, daughters-in-law Samantha and Brenda, grandchildren Áine, Cara, Mark, Clíodhna and Conor. 

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Frances McAtasney, USA and Downings

The peaceful death has occurred at her home in Fairfield, California, USA of Frances McAtasney, née McBride, formerly of Murlog, Downings.

Frances was the beloved wife of John, loving mother of Michael (deceased), daughter Kathleen O’Gara and her son Sean. She is survived by her brother Charlie and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her remains are reposing at Neptune Society, 2750 North Texas Street, Fairfield, California, USA.

Vincent Ward, Mayo and Laghey 

The death has occurred peacefully in Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, of Vincent Ward Cashel Park, Castlebar, F23 K446, and late of Castle Street, Castlebar and formerly of Laghey.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Annette, daughters Anne and Laurena, sons Ronan and Colin, sisters Noelle and Kate, brothers Jim and John, grandchildren Darragh and Ultan, son-in-law Tony, daughters-in-law Rachael and Connie, sister-in-law Rose, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends.

Vincent's remains will repose at his home, Cashel Park, Castlebar, F23 K446 on Thursday from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Removal on Friday morning at 8.15am for Requiem Mass at 9am in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar followed by Cremation Ceremony at 3pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan.

Patrick Lagan, Cork and Donegal

The death has occurred, peacefully in Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, of Patrick (Colum) Lagan, Lotabeg, Mayfield, Cork and formerly of Donegal.

Dearly loved husband of Moira, née McLafferty, and much loved father of Theresa (Arthurs), Caroline, Patricia, Terence, Harry and Brenda and loving brother of Kay, Geraldine and the late Mary, Gretta and Bernadette.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sisters, daughters-in-law Lorraine and Szilvia, sons-in-law Barry, Joe, Michael and Chris, grandchildren Stephen, Lauren, Christine, Leo, Paul, David, Jamie, Lilly and Bobby, great-grandchildren Ailbhe and Fallyn, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

James Devine, Raphoe

The death has occurred of James Devine, Drummucklagh, Raphoe, F93CC60 in Beaumount Hospital Dublin.

Predeceased by his mother Mary Ellen and father Hugh. James (Jimmy) will be forever loved and cherished by his heart broken partner Patricia, daughters AnneMarie (Alan), Michaelina (Aidan), Tina (Thomas), Briege (Ryan) grandchildren Caitlin, Thomas, Conor, Kerry, Amelia, Ella, Emily, Jack, Darragh, Cillian and Harry.

James will be sadly missed by his brothers Daniel and Hugo, sisters Patricia, Bernie and Annette, the wider family circle neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred peacefully at Golden Jubilee Hospital, Clydebank, after a short illness, of Mary Martin, Glasgow and formerly Townagorm, Barnesmore.

Loving wife to the Late Joe Martin and much loved mum to Marie (Hugh), Joseph (Margaret), Dorothy (Stephen), Aisling (Graeme). Adoring proud granny to Francis, Martin, Paul, Ronan, Clare, Hannah, Emily, Aodhán and Rory. Precious great-granny to Teidí. Sister of Christy Martin, London and Kathleen Donaghy, The Glebe, Donegal Town.

Mary’s remains will be waked on Friday from 2pm until 9pm, at the home of her daughter Marie Cassidy, Brookfield, Donegal Town, F94ERW0. House private on Saturday morning, please.

Mary’s remains will leave her daughter's residence on Saturday, at 10.15am for funeral Mass at 11am in St Agatha’s Church, Clar, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Martin Sweeney, Killygordon

The death has occurred of Martin Sweeney, Avaltygort, Killygordon, F93 Y6X8.

Beloved husband of Orla, much loved father of Carla, Jessica and Adam. Cherished brother of Mary, Ann, Noleen, Patricia and Seamus,Tony and predeceased brother Michael. 

His remains reposing at his late residence, Avaltygort, Killygordon. Family time from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral. A one-way traffic arrangement will be in place for the duration of the wake.

Funeral leaving from there on Thursday at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Crossroads, Killygordon at 11am. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live via the parish webcam at Killygordon Parish YouTube.

Barry Mc Laughlin, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Barry Mc Laughlin of Luton, Bedfordshire, England and formerly of Clar, Donegal Town. Barry passed away suddenly on April 21 in the L&D Hospital, Luton.

Predeceased by his father James, he is sadly missed by his children, Chantelle and Danny, his mother Geraldine, sisters Siobhan (Eamonn) Arlene (Jay) and brothers Seamus and Sean (Melanie), nieces and nephews and extended family.

A memorial service has taken place in London.

Celebration of Life on Wednesday, May 29 from 10am to 10.30am at St Agatha's Church, Clar, Donegal Town can be viewed on the parish webstream.
