Frances Porter, Ballindrait

The death has taken place at her home of Frances Porter, née Mc Connell, of Tober, Ballindrait and formerly of Coneyburrow Road, Lifford.

Beloved wife of the late Kevin, much loved mother of Ann, Aidan, Kevin, Ciaran and Jonathan, dearly loved grandmother of Nicole, Sophie, Sean, Kyle, Lexi Ann, Ajay, Alisha and Briannah, great grandmother of Farah, Blake, Kolton and Sullivan and sister of Angela, Eileen and the late Vincent, Ann, Dympna and Aidan.

Her remains are reposing at her home on Thursday from 4pm. Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Funeral leaving her home on Saturday at 1.15pm for Requiem Mass in St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 2pm. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live via https://clonleighparish.com/webcam-watch-live/

Mena McGee, Ballintra

The death has taken place eacefully at Northwest Hospice, Sligo, surrounded by her loving family, of Mena McGee, Main Street, Ballintra.

Pre deceased by her husband John McGee, she is lovingly remembered by her son Sean and daughters Ann-Marie and Caroline, daughter-in-law Charlotte and son-in-law Jim. Much loved Nana to Kiara, Donna, James, Shauna, Diarmaid, Amy, Rory, Paul, Pierre and great-grandson Marcus. Will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Her remains are reposing at her home on Friday, with house strictly private to family only please.

Removal on Saturday morning to St Brigid's Church, Ballintra for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Funeral Mass may be viewed online on www.churchservices.tv/ballintra

Mark Corcoran, Meath, Dublin, Cork and Donegal

The death has taken place of Mark Corcoran, Ribbontail Way, Longwood, County Meath, formerly Ballyvolane, Cork. He passed away peacefully passed away at St James’ Hospital Dublin.

Predeceased by his mother Kay and his parents-in-law Mary and Charlie Gallagher. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, wife Eithna, daughters Máire and Eilish, dad Joe, brother Alan, sisters Theresa, Susan, Valerie and Trish, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, work colleagues and friends.

His remains are reposing at the residence of his father, 8 Riverview Gardens, Ballyvolane, Cork T23 ED66 on Saturday evening from 5pm to 7pm. This will be followed by reposal at Heffernan’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Longwood, County Meath, A83 W722 ,on Sunday afternoon from 4pm to 6pm.

Funeral Mass in the Church of the Holy Family, Longwood on Monday morning at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in the New Cemetery, Annagry, arriving at approximately 6pm. 

Beth Blackburn, Raphoe

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University hospital of Elizabeth Blackburn known as Beth née Blair, Carnone, Raphoe, F93 AH2R.

Predeceased by her husband Andrew and brother Edwin. Much loved mother of sons Coulter and Richard, daughters-in-law Isobel and Ruth. Beth will be deeply missed by her brother Joseph (known as Mac), nieces, nephews, wider family circle, neighbours and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Family time please from 11pm to 11am. 

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday at 1.15pm for 2pm funeral service in Raphoe Congregational Church followed by burial in the family plot in Carnone Presbyterian Church yard.

Family flowers only donations, in lieu, to Missionary work care of any family member or Terence McClintock Funeral Director.

Nancy Cullen, Newtowncunningham

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Nancy Cullen, neé Burke, The Bungalow, Main Street, Newtowncunningham, F93 E36H.

Deeply missed by her loving son’s James (Mary), Paul, Shaun and Brian (Fiona), daughters Bernie McHugh (Seamus) and Teresa Tourish (James), sisters Mamie Tourish (Moneyhaughley, Manorcunningham), Veronica Gallagher (McNeely Villas, Letterkenny), brother William Burke (Geraldine) (Veagh, Manorcunningham), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Nancy is pre-deceased by her husband Vivian and grandson Mark Cullen.

Reposal of Nancy’s remains continues at her late residence on Thursday until 10pm with Rosary at 9pm. 

Funeral from there on Friday at 10.30am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on https://www.newtownkilleaparish.com. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Vincent Keown, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Vincent Keown, Castle Street, Ballyshannon.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Lena, son Damien, daughters Anne, Regina and Nuala, grandchildren Niall, Emma, Laura, Eimear, Micheál, Tomás, brother Frank and sisters-in-law, Rosie, Nancy, Celine, Margaret, family circle and friends.

His remains will repose at Gilmartin's Funeral Home, Main Street, Kinlough, on Thursday from 7pm to 8.30pm. House strictly private please.

His remains will arrive in St Patrick's Church, Ballyshannon, on Friday for 11am Funeral Mass followed by interment in the Abbey Cemetery, Ballyshannon. Funeral Mass can be viewed on St Patrick's Church webcam.

Family flowers only please; donations in lieu, if desired, to the North West Hospice, Sligo or any family member. 

Nora McBride, Gweedore

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Nora (Phaidí Harlaigh) McBride, Middletown, Gweedore.

Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Anna, brothers John, Paddy, Donal and Charlie, sisters Biddy, Gracie, Peggy and Kitty. Sadly missed by extended family, friends and neighbours.

Nora’s remains are reposing at her home. House private after the rosary and on the morning of the Funeral.

Christina Byrne, Carrick

The death has occurred of Christina Byrne, Meenavean, Carrick, County Donegal peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Paddy, much loved mother to Sharon, Louise and Pauric. Predeceased by her father Patrick, Christina will be sadly missed by her mother Bríd, sisters Josephine and Claire, her brothers Seamus, Patrick and John, her aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and a large circle of relatives, friends and neighbours.

Christina remains are reposing at her late residence with Rosary at 9pm. House is private to family at all other times and on the morning of the funeral.

Removal from her late residence on Friday to arrive at to St Columba's Church Carrick for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mickey McKinney, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Mickey McKinney, Known as Jock, 17 Saimer Drive, Ballyshannon. He died peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Reposing at his residence Thursday and Friday from 12pm to 8pm both nights. House private at all other times.

Removal on Saturday to St Joseph's Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for 2pm funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mari McGee, Fahan

The death has occurred peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, surrounded by her loving family, of Mari McGee, née Doherty, Cois Na Mara, Fahan.

Beloved wife of Jimmy, devoted mammy of Elisa, Kerry, Jamie and Gemma. A much loved mother-in-law of Gary, Jeff and Richard. Loving granny of Shannon, Evan, Lottie, Caleb, Greta and Reeny. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her brothers, sisters, wider family circle and friends.

Mari’s remains are reposing at her late family residence.

Funeral leaving from there on Friday at 9.20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St Mura's Parish Church, Fahan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Peter Ward, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of Peter Ward, Drumkeelan, Mountcharles, aged 92 years.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Margaret Mc Grath (Denis), Anna Mc Garrigle (Joe), Mickey Ward (Margaret), Bridie Quinn (Jim), Roselean Dunham (Bob) & Patsy Ward. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Marlene, his nieces & nephews, and all the extended family.

Reposal of his remains continues at the residence of his niece, Karen Ward, Drumkeelan, Mountcharles, F94 A264, on Thursday from 2pm until 9pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal from there on Friday going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles for 11am funeral Mass, with interment afterwards in Frosses Churchyard.

Michael Gallagher, Ballyshannon and Birmingham

The death has occurred of Michael Gallagher, Birmingham and formerly of 31 Cluain Barron, Ballyshanonn.

Predeceased by his parents Mickey and Dolly, his wife Carmel, son Richard, his brothers Seamus, Jackie, Eugene, sisters Peggy, Anna and Noelle. Sadly missed by his daughters Josephine, Julie, Rosemary, grandchildren, his brothers Cathal, Danny, Brendan, Fergal sisters Sheila Killiea, Regina Ayres, nieces, nephews and all extended family and friends.

Brı́d Fitzpatrick, Glencolmcille

The death has occurred of Brı́d Fitzpatrick, née Murrin, of Malinbeg, Glencolmcille and Erith, Kent on March 28 at Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford, Kent.

Beloved wife to Bernard, much loved mother to Paul, Anna (Thomas) and Susan (Tim), missed by all her grandchildren, Joseph, Libby, Moya, Áine, Conal and Gearóid, her sister Mary, her loving cousins Carmel and Geraldine, Mark her nephew and all of her many family and friends.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 10.30am in Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church Franciscan Friary, Carlton Road, Erith, DA8 1DN.

This will be followed by cremation in Eltham Crematorium, Crown Woods Way, London SE92AZ.

Barry Mc Laughlin, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Barry Mc Laughlin of Luton, Bedfordshire, England and formerly of Clar, Donegal Town. Barry passed away suddenly on April 21 in the L&D Hospital, Luton.

Predeceased by his father James, he is sadly missed by his children, Chantelle and Danny, his mother Geraldine, sisters Siobhan (Eamonn) Arlene (Jay) and brothers Seamus and Sean (Melanie), nieces and nephews and extended family.
