Maureen Kerrigan (née McNelis) Tipperary and Carrick
The death has occurred of Maureen Kerrigan (née McNelis) Abbey Road, Thurles, Tipperary and formely of Straleel, Carrick. Predeceased by her brother Brian and daughter-in-law Mary. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Tim, daughters; Edel (Cobh), Eileen Nugent (Trim) and Carmel O’Brien (Lisnagry, Limerick), sons Joe and Ger, daughter-in-law Avril and sons-in-law John and Joe. Sadly missed by her sisters Cáit and Gabrielle, brother Laurence and loving grandchildren Ross, Nicole, Gary, Glenn, Rachael, Shane, Mark, Sinéad, Jennifer, Harry and John. Also, by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home (E41 CP59) on Saturday, August 26 from 4.30pm to 7pm. Arriving at Bohernanave Church (E41 HT44) on Sunday, 27th August, at 9.30am for Requiem Mass at 10am. Anthony Gibbons, Clonmany
The death has taken place in Tipton, Birmingham, England of Anthony (Tony) Gibbons, formerly Minahaw, Clonmany.
Beloved partner of Margaret, dear friend of Wendy and Jenny. Son of the late Gerry and Katie, brother of Jimmy, Grace, Kathleen, Hannah, Eddie, Mary,and the late John, Gerry, Bridget , and infant Patrick Martin.
His remains will be reposing at his sister Hannah, and brother in law Joe Toland’s residence, Cleagh, Clonmany on Saturday, August 26, at 11am.
Funeral leaving from there on Monday, August 28, at 10.40am, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in New cemetery.

The death has taken place of Samuel John Hood Smith, known as Sammy, Magheramore, Manorcunningham F92CY97.
Beloved brother of Tommy and David and sister Margaret. Sammy will be sadly missed by his nieces and wider family circle.
His remains will repose at his late residence from 6pm this evening, Friday August 25th.

The peaceful death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Seamus McElwee, Macalla, Currien, Fintown, F94N7C3,
Seamus, a retired school principal, is the beloved husband of Clare and loving father to Donal and Cathal, daughters-in-law Jennifer and Aimee and beloved grandchildren, Eunan, Éila, Thomas and Rosie, sister Sheila, brother Hugh and recently pre-deceased by his brother Sean McElwee, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.
Seamus will repose at his home from 4pm tomorrow on Saturday, August 26 until 9pm and on Sunday, August 27 from 12 noon until 9pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm with family time on the morning of the funeral.
Requiem Mass at 11am on Monday morning, August 28, in St Colmcille’s Chapel, Fintown, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Beloved wife of the late James, and much-loved mother of Bernadine, Sarah, John, Roisin and Moira, cherished sister of Vonnie, Sean, Kathleen, Liam, and the late Hugh, Bridget, and Pat.
Remains reposing at her late residence on Friday from 11am to 9pm.
Funeral leaving from there on Saturday, August 26, at 10.20 am for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Convoy at 11am.

Caitlín (Cití) Uí Chochláin (Coughlan), (Nic Phaidín), Rann na Feirsde and Mount Merrion, Dublin) died peacefully, in her 101st year, surrounded by her loving family, Síle, Liam, Máire, Fr Padraig, Tom, Peadar, Martina, Caitriona, Mairéad (Dawson), Fiona (Abom). Beloved wife of Liam (deceased) and cherished grandmother to Aoife, Niamh, Sinéad, Lorraine, Catriona, Paul, Conor, Donal, Liam, Thomas and Anna. Deeply regretted by her sons-in-law, Simon and Bill, daughters-in-law, Helen, Aisling, Mary (deceased) and Rosemary, her sister Máire, brother-in-law Philip and all her extended relatives and friends.

Tony Doherty Skill, Clonmany
The death has occurred of Tony Doherty (Skill) Tirhoran, Clonmany, suddenly but peacefully in the Mater ICU Dublin.
Predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen, Tony will be sadly missed by his loving wife Susie, his siblings, Shaun, Neil, Michael, Catriona, and Linda, his brothers-in-law Miah, and Shaun, his sisters in law Grainne and Jennifer. Tony was very much loved by his nephews Shane, Damian, Shay and Conor, and his nieces Megan, Sinead and Aoisa.
Tony's remains will be arriving at the Bridgend border at approx 4pm on Thursday. Tony will be reposing at his brother Neil's residence, house private from 10pm both nights.
Removal from there on Saturday at 11am, for a celebration of Tony's life at 3pm at Lakelands Cremation, Dublin Road, Cavan H12 RF78

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Ishwori Bamjara, Fahan and formerly of Panauti, Nepal.
Beloved wife of Colm Doherty and dearest mother of Mishka. Sadly missed by her Mother Saraswoti, Sisters Sumitra and Gayatri, mother-in-law Josephine, family circle and friends here and in her home town of Panauti, Nepal.
Her remains are reposing at the Doherty family home, Porthaw, Buncrana. House Private for family only on Saturday and on Sunday morning.

Most Reverend Bishop Emeritus Liam S MacDaid, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin and Fermanagh
The Diocese of Clogher has confirmed the funeral arrangements for Bishop Liam S MacDaid, Bishop-Emeritus of Clogher, who died suddenly while on holiday in France on August 15.
Bishop Liam’s body will arrive at St Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan on Friday at 3pm.
Following the Liturgy of Reception, Bishop Liam’s body will repose at the Cathedral until the conclusion of Night Prayer of the Church which will commence at 9.45pm. This will enable all to pay their respects to the late Bishop.
The Funeral Mass for Bishop MacDaid, including Midday Prayer from the Prayer of the Church for the Faithful Departed, will be celebrated on Saturday at 12 noon, followed by burial in the Cathedral grounds.
