Death notices for Donegal on Saturday morning

The following deaths have taken place:

 Donal O’Donnell, Killybegs

The death has occurred suddenly of Donal O’Donnell, Cashelcummin, Killybegs, Co Donegal, surrounded by his loving family, peacefully in Donegal Hospice.

Sadly missed by his wife Maire, daughters Catherine, Helen, Sinéad, Anita and Genevieve, son Daniel, son-in-law Lee, grandchildren Trinity and Levi, sisters Margaret, Bríd and Mary, brother Padraig, extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his home in Cashelcummin, F94W3P3 on Saturday from 1pm to 10pm.

Removal on Sunday at 1.30pm to St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs for 2pm funeral Mass followed by burial in the local cemetery. Mass will be streamed live on www.mcnmedia.tv 

Sarah McLaughlin Homes, Carndonagh

The death has taken place of Sarah McLoughlin Homes, Park Lane, Bridge Street, Carndonagh.

Her remains are reposing at her home. Family time from 11pm to 10am.

Funeral leaving there on Sunday morning at 10.30am to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Willie Tully, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Willie Tully, Tullycullion House, Killybegs, F94 VW93, surrounded by his loving family and the caring ICU staff of University Hospital, Galway.

He will be forever loved and missed by his heartbroken family, his wife Jackie, children Sarah and Ciarán, much loved brothers Charlie, Danny, the late Colm, and sister Mary, extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his family home on Saturday from 3pm to 9pm. Family time only please outside of these times. One-way traffic system in operation entering via KT Nets.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Sunday at St Mary’s of the Visitation Church, Killybegs, followed by burial afterwards in the churchyard of the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless. Funeral Mass can be viewed online at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/.../st-mary-of-the-visitation

Joseph Doherty, Carndonagh

The death has taken place of Joseph Doherty (Noon), Craignahorna, Carndonagh.

His remains are reposing his late residence. House private please from 9pm to 11am.

Funeral leaving there on Saturday morning at 10.15am going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Tess Cleary, Ballyshannon

The death has taken place peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family of Tess Cleary, née Hoey, Bishop Street, Ballyshannon, F94 RW35.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Tommy, she was the much-loved mother of Treasa, Séamie, Anne, Thomas, John, Margaret, Mark, Billy, Paul, Michael and Libby. Tess will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her children, 17 grandchildren, sons and daughters-in-law, her brothers Alo and Brendan, her sisters Rita Touhy, and Angela Moriarty, the extended Cleary and Hoey Families, neighbours, and friends.

Removal from her home on Saturday Morning at 10.30am to arrive at St Patrick's Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on www.churchservices.tv/stpatricksballyshannon

Family flowers donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to North West Hospice c/o Patsy McCauley Funeral Director.

Oliver Friel, Ramelton

The death has occurred peacefully in Donegal Hospice of Oliver Friel, Gllen Lower, Ramelton, F92 D5P9. 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Susan, family Siobhan and Fergal Logue (Kerrykeel), Paul (Jake) and Regina (Drumkeen), Ollie and Shauna (Glen Lower), Noel and Stephen (Ramelton), grandchildren Reece, Kelsey, Evie, Emmett, Tristan and Rebecca, great-grandchild Daithí, brothers Alex and Brendan, sister May Henderson, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford with burial afterwards in Tully Cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/milford

Joe Carlin, Fahan 

The death has occurred of Joe Carlin in Cadiz, Spain, aged 84 and formerly of Kilmora, Fahan.

Survived by his wife Ana, son Niall and daughter Joanna, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Son of the late Neal and Mary Carlin, predeceased by his brother Fr Neal Carlin and sister Una McDonagh, brother of Brendan, Dermot, James, Dessie, Aidan, Angela and Christine.
