The death has taken place in Dublin of Michael Fogarty, Main Street, Rathmullan,
Funeral Mass in St Joseph's Church, Rathmullan, Tuesday, August 8 at 11m with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
The house and funeral are strictly private
Ann Gallagher, Dublin / Galway / Letterkenny
The death occurred on August 6 of Ann Gallagher, (née Comiskey), Lusk, Dublin / Salthill, Galway / Letterkenny. Ann died peacefully surrounded by her heartbroken family. Predeceased by her parents Sean and Mary and her brother Frank.
Deeply mourned by her daughters Sharon McAlinney, Orla Melia, Úna Bradley and Aoife Fennelly, sons-in-law Robert, John, Donal and Michael.
Sadly missed also by her 12 adored grandchildren Daniel, Adam, Holly, Jack, Luke, Donnacha, Alex, Robyn, Austin, Devlin, Faye and Tiernan, her sisters Kay Croke and Patricia, brother Martin, brother-in-law Tom and sister-in-law Edel, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
No flowers, please. Memorial donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society or the Galway Hospice.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Tuesday evening, August 8, from 7.30pm. to 9pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated for Ann at Shannon Crematorium on Wednesday, August 9, at 3 p.m. Family returning to Galway City for refreshments.
John McGinley, Buncrana
The death has taken place in Altnagelvin Hospital of John McGinley, Ardravan House, Swilly Road, Buncrana. Beloved husband of Maeve, son of the late Jack and Agnes McGinley RIP and dear brother of Patricia (Lynch), Oonagh (Philips), Patrick, sister-in-law Jean and the late Denis and Rosemary RIP. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family circle and friends.
Remains reposing at his residence. Funeral from there on Wednesday, August 9 at 9:30am going to St Mary’s Oratory for 10am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery.
House private from 10pm until 10am, family flowers only donations in lieu to the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association c/o any family member.

Patrick McLaughlin, Malin Head
The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Patrick (Dearg) McLaughlin, Urbleragh, Malin Head.
Reposing his late home. Removal from there on Wednesday at 10.30am to St Mary’s Church, Lagg, Malin for Requiem Mass at 11am, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Zara Witherow, Castlegal, Co Leitrim
The peaceful death has taken place of Zara Witherow, Tawley, Castlegal, Co. Leitrim.
Zara’s passing will be a source of huge sadness and pain to her loving parents Gina and Mark and her sister Alannah and to her grandparents Cairns and Margaret, Colin and Leo, and the late Pat.
The devastating news of courageous Zara’s passing has cast a shadow of grief and sadness among her cousins, her wider family circle and the local community.
Removal of Zara’s remains will occur on Tuesday morning, August 8 to arrive at St. Aidan’s Church, Kinlough for 11am Mass of the Angels, with burial afterwards in St Aidan’s Cemetery, Kinlough.

Campbell Johnston, Letterkenny
The peaceful death has taken place of Campbell Johnston at his family home in Dromore, Letterkenny (F92RH2H), surrounded by his loving family.
He will be deeply missed by Elma and Elizabeth, son Stewart (Claire), daughters Julie Johnston (Michael McElwaine), Avril Larkin (Paul), Charlene Harkin (Mark), Laura Galbraith (Keith) and his 12 beloved grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his sisters Gretta Starritt-Clarke, Ruby Elvin and Lynn Candon.
Funeral Service at his home on Tuesday, August 8 at 2pm, followed by burial in the family plot in Gortlee Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, in lieu, to the Donegal Hospice care of any family member or Terence McClintock, funeral director.
Con Furey, Frosses
The death has occurred of Con Furey, Meentacor, Frosses. Peacefully at his residence. Predeceased by his wife Peggy, sister Kathleen Dolan (Aghyaran) and brother John (Australia). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brother James Anthony, his sister Mary, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family neighbours and friends.
Funeral Mass at 11am on Tuesday, August 8, in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
Bridget Cunningham, Carrick
The death has occurred of Bridget Cunningham, Carrick Lower, Carrick formerly from Dublin, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff at Killybegs Community Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, her sisters Emza, Dinah, Essie, Mary, Teresa and her brothers Andrew, Anthony and Seán. Bridget will be sadly missed by her son Michael, her daughter-in-law Sandra, her grandchildren Andrew, Emma and Megan, her great-grandchildren Alfie and Summer, her brother Joe, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and a large circle of neighbours and friends.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 8 at 11am in St. Columba’s Church, Carrick with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred peacefully at his late residence of Daniel John (Dan) Mulrine, Edenvale Park, Dunmurry, Belfast, formerly Donegal Street, Ballybofey, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Kathleen. Beloved son of the late Peter and Margaret and cherished brother of the late Dr Frank and much-loved uncle of Margaret, Anne and Peter. Reposing at his home. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, nephew, nieces and family circle.
Funeral leaving his late residence on Wednesday, August 9, at 8.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church Of Our Lady Queen Of Peace at 9am. Interment in Stranorlar Cemetery at approximately 12.30pm. House private, please.
Martin McKnight, Lifford / Mullingar
The death took place on August 4 at Tallaght University Hospital of Martin McKnight, Gallows Lane, Lifford and formerly of Ballymacallan, Moyvore, Westmeath.
Much loved husband of Kay, dearly loved son of the late Richard and Teresa McKnight, brother of Carmel, Anthony, Ethel, Kevin and the late Jimmy and Nora, beloved son-in-law of Mary and the late Tommy McBrearty and brother-in-law of Danny, Liam, John, Eileen and the late Pajoe.
Funeral leaving his home on Tuesday, August 8 at 11.20am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kay Walker, Leitrim / Dublin / Donegal
The death has occurred of Catherine (Kay) Walker (née Toomey), Druminalass, Ballinaglera, County Leitrim. formerly Moatfield Park, Coolock, Dublin and Donegal. She died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at St Francis Hospice, Raheny.
Predeceased by her husband Gerry, brothers Eddie and Patrick and sister Eva, she is deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by her loving son and daughters Brenda (Staunton, Louisburgh), Frank (Dublin) and Catherine (Dublin) sister Sr Margaret-Ann, brother Michael, son-in-law John Staunton, Frank's partner Diane, Catherine's partner Jason, grandchildren Ella, Eva, Will, Seán, Cillian, and Eryn, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Walker and Toomey families, neighbours in Coolock and Ballinaglera, and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral arriving at St Hugh's Church, Ballinaglera on Tuesday, August 8 at 11.40am for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Teresa Halpin, Dublin / Pettigo
The death has occurred of Teresa Halpin (née Maguire), Ballygall, Dublin, late of Beneavin Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Rathmintin, Dublin 24 and originally of Pettigo. She passed peacefully in her 99th year, after a short illness, in the loving care of her family and the staff of the Mater Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Peadar, and loving mother of Larry and Terri. Sadly missed by her family, grandchildren Niall, Clare, Dom, Liam and Ciaran, great-grandchildren Noah, Isaac and Isla, daughter-in-law Rachel, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Patrick McLoughlin, late of Dunwiley, Stranorlar, Dublin, England, Sligo and Leitrim.
Beloved husband of the late Martha and dear father of John, Peter, Keith, and Declan, his daughter-in-law Linda, Helen, and Marie, his grandchildren Conor, Niall, Eva, Isaac, Finn, Patricia, Andrew and the late David, cherished brother of Nancy, Bridie, Bosco, Jacinta and the late Nuala. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his extended family and friends and neighbours.
