RTÉ 2fm presenter Doireann Garrihy has announced the birth of her first child with a series of photos on Instagram.
The host of The Laughs of Your Life podcast announced the exciting news on Instagram on Tuesday evening that she had given birth to a beautiful little girl as she shared her a adorable and classic moniker.

Doireann and her husband, Mark Mehigan, shared the snaps of their new baby in the Rotunda hospital in Dublin where the said they were "beyond grateful" for how "minded" they felt as their little girl had "quite the voyage" to get here.
In the sweet snap, Doireann looked radiant as she held her new little girl, along with the caption, "Our baby, Rosie. A love like this we've never known."

Swarms of Irish celebrities and well-wishers filled the comments underneath the photo offering their congratulations in welcoming little baby Rosie into the world.

Doireann's former radio co-hosts Carl Mullan and Donnacha O'Callaghan said "Welcome to the world Rosie. Massive congrats to you both. Go on Mam ya superstar", and "Congrats Swan and Bae. Go on Cygnet Rosie", respectively.
Musician Dermot Whelan left a hilarious comment saying, "Congratulations!! Remember to keep your strength up, try to eat and don't take too many visitors. You've been through so much physically and emotionally. You too Doireann."
Arthur Gourounlian, Lucy Kennedy, and Doireann's sisters, Ailbhe and Aoibhin, all congratulated the pair who married in 2024.
