Star of hit tv show, Derry Girls, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, known for playing Erin Quinn on the series, is officially married.

She wed her long time partner Hector Barbour, better known by his DJ name, Denis Sulta, in a lavish three-day ceremony just outside Kenmare, County Kerry.

The newlywed couple have reportedly been together since 2021, with Jackson confirming their engagement in February 2024.

While they have mostly kept their relationship out of the public eye, they have been known to frequently share snippets of each other on social media and in interviews.

Having kept the lead up to their wedding private, the newlyweds have now shared the first look at their wedding celebrations - a three-day affair hosted by the gorgeous Dromquinna Manor.

While celebrations began last Friday, it was not until Saturday August 9, that Saoirse-Monica walked down the aisle wearing s custom-made Annie’s Ibiza wedding dress, complete with puff sleeves, a long train, but short front.

The Sun reports that Jackson walked down the aisle with her father to the song Dreams by iconic Irish rock band The Cranberries.

Fellow Derry Girls star Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, who played Michelle Mallon, not only attended the wedding but served as a bridesmaid for her former co-star's nuptials.

Saoirse-Monica, a native of Derry, and Barbour, a native of Scotland, have expressed that they decided to get married in Ireland as an homage to their “shared Celtic heritage.”

Speaking to British Vogue, Jackson joked that: “Once we’d decided to do it at home, we started praying to our grannies, aunties, the saints and Sinéad O’Connor for nice weather.”

The three-day festivities had unique Irish charm, hosting an array of Irish vendors, Guinness on tap and music played by Irish trad group BIIRD and Irish singer Lisa Canny.

Jackson said that the style influence was “Celtic Warrior Princess”, explaining to British Vogue: "We wanted both of our cultures and our families and friends to be at the centre of it.”
