Inishowen group The Henry Girls are to play a special rescheduled homecoming concert in Malin in October.
The show, which will be a home launch of their latest album, A Time To Grow, was to be performed as part of the Earagail Arts festival in July but was postponed due to illness.
Sisters Karen, Lorna and Joleen McLaughlin – who hail from the townland of Drumaville - are to perform the home-coming concert in the charming surroundings of Malin Hall on Saturday, October 19.
The group, who are renowned for their captivating harmonies and innovative musical arrangements, held their annual Home With The Henrys residencey in the Malin area during the Earagail Arts Festival.
A Time To Grow has been earning widespread acclaim, with Hot Press Magazine describing it as simply “stunning”. The group was also nominated for a coveted RTÉ Folk Award this year.
